SRC has been awarded two contracts with a combined value of $8.1 million for its Foliage Penetration Reconnaissance, Surveillance, Tracking and Engagement Radar, known as FORESTER. The first award is $5.3 million by the U.S. Army and the second was for $2.8 million from the Consolidated Security, Disaster Assistance and Continuing Appropriations Act for FORESTER technology improvements. The Army contract is for an additional radar system to support ongoing unmanned aerial vehicle research and development efforts.
