BAE to Support Phased Array Radar Systems

BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Service, Rockville Maryland, has been awarded a $44,283,973 fixed-price-incentive modification (P00428) on FA2517-06-C-8001 to exercise option year eight to manage, operate, maintain and logistically support solid state phased array radar systems. Work will be performed at Beale Air Force Base, California; Cape Cod Air Force Station, Massachusetts; Clear Air Force Station, Alaska; Thule Air Base, Greenland, and Royal Air Force Fylingdales, United Kingdom, and is expected to be completed Aug. 31, 2015. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, is the contracting activity.

BAE Awarded Missile Warning System Funds

BAE Systems, Nashua, New Hampshire, was awarded a $447,051,113 modification (P00004) to contract W58RGZ-13-D-0245 to increase the ceiling by the announcement amount for the acquisition of Common Missile Warning Systems (CMWS) and associated spare parts, and systems engineering, technical, and logistics support services for both CMWS and Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures. This modification is to establish negotiated prices for all part numbers in all ranges and increase the ceiling for both hardware and services support. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

Two Firms Awarded Night Vision Contracts

BAE Systems Inc., Nashua, New Hampshire, was awarded a $444,812,310 firm-fixed-price contract (W91CRB-14-D-0010) for Individual and Enhanced Night Vision Goggle III weapons sights. DRS RSTA Inc., Dallas, Texas was awarded a $367,035,238 firm-fixed-price contract (W91CRB-14-D-0011). Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen, Maryland, is the contracting activity. 

BAE to Provide Friend or Foe Identification to Japan

BAE Systems Information & Electronic Systems Integration Inc., Greenlawn, N.Y., is being awarded a $6,715,693 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of 16 AN/UPX-41 (C) Digital Interrogators for the U.S. Navy (14) and the government of Japan (2) and 45 Mode 5 Identification Friend or Foe field change kits for the U.S. Navy (33) and the government of Japan (12). This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($5,399,417; 80.4 percent) and the government of Japan ($1,316,276; 19.6 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-14-D-0004).

European Nations Purchase Friend or Foe Identification Systems

January 6, 2014

BAE Systems Information and Electronics Systems Integration Inc., Greenlawn, N.Y., has been awarded a $21,742,595 modification (P00004) on contract (FA8615-13-C-6014) for the F-16 Mode 5 Advanced Identify Friend/Foe, combined interrogator transponder. The contract modification exercises the option for the purchase of an additional 200 production units being produced under the basic contract. This action includes the following European participating Air Force countries: Belgium, Denmark, The Netherlands, Norway, and Portugal. The percentage of this action that supports foreign military sales is 70 percent. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Australia Procures Electro-Optical Sensor System
