BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, Rockville, Md., has been awarded an estimated $48,631,973 modification (P00374) to contract FA2517-06-C-8001 to exercise option-year seven. The modification will provide for the management, operations, maintainance and logistical support for the solid-state phased array radar systems. The 21st Contracting Squadron, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity.

BAE Receives Advanced Warning Radar Funds

BAE Systems, Totowa, N.J., has been awarded a maximum $94,312,136 modification (P00056), to contract (SPM400-06-D-9405), adding two additional pricing periods for advanced radar warning receiver ship sets and line replaceable units. The sole-source contract is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Locations of performance are New Jersey, New York, and potentially Korea, Australia, Egypt, Norway, Poland, and Canada, with a Dec. 5, 2018 performance completion date. Using military service is the U.S. Air Force. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.

AFRL Awards Multiple Target Recognition Contracts

KEYW Corp., Severn, Md., (FA8650-13-D-1551); Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC), McLean, Va., (FA8650-13-D-1552); Raytheon Co., Space and Airborne Systems, El Segundo, Calif. (FA8650-13-D-1553); and BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc., Burlington, Mass., (FA8650-13-D-1628), have been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in the amount of $24,375,000 (shared ceiling for five contracts) for research and development for the Compact Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) and Sustainable Environment (CASE) program. Research is focused on reducing template/database dimensionality and cost for single and multi-phenomenology ATR, while maintaining target identification performance. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, is the contracting activity.

BAE Supports U.S. Navy Air Warfare Center

BAE to Provide Identification Friend or Foe Technology to Five Nations

BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Greenlawn, N.Y., is being awarded a $24,186,962 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option for the procurement of Common (Identification Friend or Foe) Digital Transponder (CXP) hardware for the U.S. Army, Navy, Coast Guard, and the governments of Saudi Arabia, Australia, the Netherlands, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including transponders, mounts, modification kits and remote control unit modes. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity. 

BAE Awarded DISA Support Contract

The total lifecycle value of the contract is $8,200,000. Performance will be at DISA, Lab Building, Fort George G. Meade, Md. The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, is the contracting activity. 

U.S. Air Force Awards $249 Million Cyberspace Command and Control Contract

Intelligent Software Solutions, Colorado Springs, Colo.; BAE Systems, McLean, Va.; Charles River Analytics Inc., Cambridge, Mass.; Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Herndon, Va.; Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va.; Lockheed Martin Corp., Colorado Springs, Colo., and Solers Inc., Arlington, Va., are being awarded a $249 million multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity for the development of command and control applications and information services for air, space and cyberspace domains. The contracting activity is the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. 

U.S. Navy Awards More Than $899 Million in C5ISR Funds

(Engility), Mount Laurel, N.J.; Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va.; Serco, Reston, Va.; and Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta, Ga., are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, with fixed-price incentive (firm target) and firm-fixed-price provisions, multiple-award contract for the procurement of production, installation and in-service support services. The services required include support of design, acquisition, production, integration, testing, installation, and configuration management of certified C5ISR capabilities, with a specific focus on submarine and surface new construction, modernization, systems production/integration, installation and life cycle support of systems and subsystems integrated within or in support of the subsurface and surface platforms, both afloat and shore based. The cumulative estimated value of the base year is $179,908,687. These contracts include options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to a combined estimated $899,543,000. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
