BAE Systems has been awarded a $194 million contract by the Ministry of Defence to provide next-generation medium-range radars (MRR) for the majority of the Royal Navy surface fleet and for the future aircraft carriers.
BAE Systems has won a five-year, $94 million, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with the U.S. Marine Corps Operational Test and Evaluation Activity Omnibus Support. BAE will provide the personnel and technical expertise to deliver essential complimentary operational test, evaluation, managerial and technical support resources to the Marine Corps.
BAE Systems has been awarded a $14.5 million U.S. Army contract to develop surveillance sensors under the Army's Airborne Wide Area Persistent Surveillance Sensor program. The system will use dual-band visible and infrared imaging technology to collect high-resolution imagery from large areas of interest, enabling military aircraft to conduct 24-hour surveillance.
