Kratos Supports Target Tracking and Control System

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc., San Diego, Calif., recently announced its Micro Systems Inc. subsidiary recently received a contract modification from the U.S. Army valued at up to $6.64 million for additional engineering services option hours in support of the Target Tracking and Control System (TTCS), Target Interface Control Units (TICU) and associated ancillary equipment. Under the modification for additional option hours, Micro Systems may be issued option exercise modifications to provide engineering services to develop upgrades to the US Army TTCS, TICU, and associated ancillary equipment.

Kratos Awarded UAV Command and Control Contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc., San Diego, recently announced its Micro Systems Inc. subsidiary of its Advanced Drone and Targets Systems Division recently received a four-year Basic Ordering Agreement from the U.S. Navy valued at up to $29.6 million for unmanned aerial drone command and control systems and services. Kratos can be issued orders to provide engineering support and develop upgrades to unmanned aerial drone command and control electronics and related ground control stations over the next four years.

Kratos to Support U.S. Marine Corps Biometrics Programs

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions Inc., San Diego, Calif., a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that its Defense Rocket Support Service division's Technical Services business unit won the contract to provide acquisition, financial, logistics, training, technical, program management and administrative support to the Program Manager United States Marine Corps Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (PM USMC CREW) Biometrics Programs. PM USMC CREW Biometrics Programs include the Biometrics Automated Toolset and server, the Identity Dominance System Marine Corps, the Biometrics Enrollment Screening Device, the Handheld Interagency Identity Detection Equipment. Kratos will also support Biometrics training, which is conducted by the Tactical Training Exercise Control Group and the Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group at the Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command, 29 Palms, Calif.

Six Firms Awarded Millions for C4I

Science Applications International Corporation, McLean Virginia, is being awarded a $23,417,711 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) software engineering support to include engineering products related to C4I software applications and databases or database management systems for current and future C4I systems. Other awards include: Intelesis Technologies Corporation, San Diego, California, $22,090,612; Forward Slope Incorporated, San Diego, California, $21,228,567; General Dynamics Information Technology Incorporated, Fairfax Virginia, $19,914,712; Kratos Defense Engineering Solutions Incorporated, San Diego, California, $19,029,890; and FGM Incorporated, Reston Virginia, $17,180,390. Technical support will include the full range of software development including system requirements, design, implementation, integration, and documentation. All awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.

Kratos Technology and Training Solutions Incorporated, San Diego, California, is being awarded a potential $40,058,647 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, multiple award contract to provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) support in the areas of test and evaluation, engineering, independent verification and validation engineering, software quality assurance, configuration management, and website maintenance in support of Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific's C4I programs and software support activity. Assured Space Access Technologies Incorporated, Tempe, Arizona, is being awarded a potential $38,924,619 contract; General Dynamics Information Technology Incorporated, Fairfax, Virginia, a potential $36,338,639; Serco Incorporated, Reston, Virginia, a potential $34,899,132; and Computer Sciences Corporation, San Diego, California, a potential $35,041,870 contract. All awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.

Kratos Receives Contract for Eurofighter Microwave Assembly

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Incorporated announced recently  that its Herley New England subsidiary has been awarded a contract valued at approximately $2.1 million by an International customer to provide a complex integrated microwave assembly (IMA) to be used in the CAPTOR Radar on the Typhoon Eurofighter. Typhoon Eurofighter is the aircraft of choice for air forces of six nations-Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Austria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The CAPTOR Radar is a multi-mode pulse Doppler Radar, which provides air-to-air and air-to-surface features.

 

Kratos Receives Simulation Research and Development Contract

Kratos Digital Fusion Solutions Incorporated, Huntsville, Alabama, was awarded approximately $23 million for research, development, modeling, and simulation capabilities for innovative and comprehensive research and development efforts in the highly coupled areas and intersections of modeling and simulation, computational fluid dynamics, aerodynamic heating and advanced weapons concepts. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

Kratos to Support Pacific Region Cybersecurity Efforts for U.S. Navy

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Incorporated recently announced that it has received a U.S. Navy services contract to perform information technology, information assurance and cybersecurity services supporting the Pacific Region. The contract is valued at $8 million if all options are exercised. Kratos will provide a variety of technology services including customer/user service support; system operations support; information assurance and cybersecurity support; adoption and deployment of the web-centric development program; secure network administration and secure wireless systems support; and process improvement of knowledge management.

DTI Associates to Support U.S. Navy High-Priority Technology Programs

DTI Associates Incorporated has been awarded an $11 million the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division requirement for continuing and uninterrupted engineering support performed in support of Engagement Systems Department programs and activities. This contract will provide engineering support for critical and high-priority programs such as Precision Strike Package; Littoral Combat Ship; Electromagnetic Railgun Launcher; GunPACS; and Strategic Border Initiative.

NeuralStar is an enterprise-class information management solution that integrates data across distributed networks, and dopplerVUE is a network monitoring and management tool that brings enterprise-grade features to field and tactical networks of any size.
