ITT Receives Contract for Command and Control Capability

ITT Corporation has received a $25.9 million firm-fixed-price contract. This requirement is necessary to expand the command and control capability for Iraqi signal platoons and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance battalions. Joint Contracting Command-Iraq/Afghanistan, Baghdad, Iraq, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Army Awards ITT $153 Million Night Vision Order

ITT Corporation's Night Vision business has received an order from the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command Acquisition Center for the AN/PVS-14 night vision monocular. This order is valued at $153 million. The AN/PVS-14 allows users to adjust the gain control in varying light conditions in both urban and rural settings. These versatile devices can be hand-held, head- or weapon-mounted, or fitted to a camera.

IMPACT Science & Technology Modifies Contract for Radio-controlled Improvised Explosive Device Systems

IMPACT Science & Technology has received a $28.4 million modification to a previously awarded contract for the production and support of 550 JCREW 2.1 radio-controlled improvised explosive device (RCIED) electronic warfare systems to meet urgent U.S. Defense Department requirements in support of operation Enduring Freedom. Vehicle-mounted CREW systems are used in the Defense Department's joint counter RCIED electronic warfare program.

ITT to Provide Software Application for Network-Centric Operational Support

ITT Corporation has been awarded an $11.2 million, cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract for soldier radio waveform (SRW). The SRW software application will operate on joint tactical radio sets to provide voice, data and video tactical communications services in support of network-centric operations. The contract could be valued at approximately $116,947,363 if all options are exercised. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity.

ITT Receives Contract for Night Vision Systems

ITT Corporation has received a $23 million contract by the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence for head-mounted night vision systems (HMNVS). HMNVS is a lightweight, single-battery monocular unit that provides enhanced mobility and reliability for soldiers during ground-based operations.

ITT Awarded Foreign Military Sales Contract

ITT Corporation's communications systems business has received a five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity foreign military sales (FMS) contract by the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command. The contract, which has a potential value of $490 million, was awarded through the security assistance management directorate, Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, for the manufacture and delivery of communications and electronics equipment and services required by international customers through the FMS program. Potential products and services under the contract include communications systems, radios and associated products, components, and services such as installation, training and engineering support.

ITT Corporation Receives Systems and Missions Support II Contract by the U.S. Air Force

ITT Corporation is one of six prime contracts awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract by the U.S. Air Force to provide mission and requirements support to the U.S. Strategic Command. The total contract value is up to $900 million over a five-year period. ITT will provide management and professional support services, including analysis, engineering and technical services.

ITT Receives Follow-on Order for Systems to Defeat Improvised Explosive Devices

ITT Corporation has received a follow-on, fixed-price award valued up to $1 billion from the U.S. Naval Sea Systems Command. The contract is for ITT's CREW 2.1 vehicle receiver jammers (CVRJs), vehicle-mounted systems designed to prevent the detonation of improvised explosive devices (IEDs). ITT will build and deliver up to 15,000 CREW 2.1 devices as well as related equipment.

ITT to Provide SpearNet Radio System to Spanish Army

ITT Communications Systems of ITT Corporation has been selected by the Defence & Security Division of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS) to provide its SpearNet radio system for the full-scale engineering development phase of Spain's Combatiente del Futuro, a military modernization program. The SpearNet radio will provide the backbone for voice, data and video communications for the Spanish Army.

Testbed Development for JCREW

A testbed to support the Joint Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare (JCREW) program will be developed and demonstrated. The U.S. government will use the testbed to develop and test advanced open architecture technology for counter-improvised explosive device (IED) systems development.
