Boeing Awarded Poseidon Aircraft Funds

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded a $30,385,333 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-12-C-0112) for the development of a structural repair manual in support of the P-8A Poseidon Multi-mission Maritime Aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Boeing to Provide P-8As to United States and Australia

The Boeing Company, Seattle, is being awarded a $295,643,284 advance acquisition contract for the procurement of long-lead items for the manufacture and delivery of 12 Lot II Full Rate Production P-8A aircraft for the U.S. Navy (8) and the government of Australia (4). This contract combines purchase for the U.S. Navy ($152,043,495; 51 percent) and the government of Australia ($143,599,789; 49 percent) under a cooperative agreement. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity (N00019-14-C-0067).

Boeing Awarded P-8A Repair Funds

The Boeing Company, Seattle, is being awarded a $44,983,385 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the repairs of 214 various mission system components on the P-8A aircraft. The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon System Support, Philadelphia, is the contracting activity (N00383-14-D-007F).

Boeing to Support Australian Electronic Warfare Aircraft

The Boeing Company, St. Louis, is being awarded $20,753,552 for delivery order 0201 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-11-G-0001) for non-recurring engineering and associated program management, logistics and spares for the AEA-18G aircraft in support of the government of Australia under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Navy Awards P-8A Funds

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Washington, is being awarded $14,863,552 for delivery order 3051 against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-11-G-0001) for the P-8A Poseidon Increment 3 Interface Development. This order includes two Mission Systems Emulation Environment (MSEE) units with all required hardware, Tactical Open Mission software with P-8 baseline architecture interface data exposure modifications, interface adapter computer software configuration items, and P-8A real-time simulator and interactive warfare simulator. In addition, this order includes the development, documentation, and delivery of hardware and software updates for four MSEE units. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.
 

Boeing to Integrate Small Diameter Bomb Software

The Boeing Company Defense, Space and Security, St. Louis, Missouri, has been awarded an $80 million indefinite-delivery/ indefinite-quantity contract for Small Diameter Bomb Increment 1 (SDB 1) technical support. The contractor will provide SDB 1 weapon integration support, including technical support to the designated aircraft system program offices testing, upgrades, program management support, and software updates to the SDB 1 system required to integrate the SBD 1 weapon system with other weapons systems. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (FA8672-14-D-0007).

Boeing to Provide QF-16 Aerial Targets

The Boeing Company, St. Louis, has been awarded a $27,685,574 modification (P00058) to FA8678-10-C-0100 for QF-16 Full-Scale Aerial Target (FSAT) Lot 2. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $158,649,517. The contract modification is for the exercise of the Lot 2 production option under the basic contract. This option is for the purchase of 23 QF-16 FSATs and 23 four-year warranties of the QF-16 Drone-Peculiar Equipment (DPE). The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.

Boeing Awarded Signals Intelligence Funds

Boeing has received its first production order for the Ship’s Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Modifications program from the U.S. Navy, as well as a fifth order for SSEE Increment F systems, six for the U.S. Navy and four that will support the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy. The modifications will advance maritime forces’ ability to detect, geolocate and exploit signals sent by potential threats on selected SSEE Increment E and F systems. The fifth order for the current system will bring SSEE's real-time capabilities to a U.S. ally for the first time.

Boeing Awarded Precision Laser Guidance Funds

March 3, 2014

The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $49,816,500 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0030) for the full rate production of 3,500 Precision Laser Guidance Set (PLGS) units and 5,000 kits to convert the PLGS units from the DSU-38/B configuration to the DSU-38A/B for the U.S. Air Force. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.
