Exelis to Provide Cross-Domain Transfer Solutions

Exelis Inc., Herndon, Virginia, has been awarded an estimated $49,900,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for new and enhanced software. The contractor will research, develop, enhance, deploy and support the next-generation Cross-Domain Transfer Solutions. This will be accomplished by the following: researching new cross domain transfer solution technologies to improve performance, enhance security, increase autonomy and reduce life-cycle costs; enhance current solutions utilizing technologies from varying technology readiness levels; providing authorized users the ability to securely transfer data between interconnected security domains while protecting against unauthorized access or malicious attack; and by deploying and supporting these solutions to meet the current and rapidly evolving intelligence needs. Air Force Research Laboratory, Rome, New York, is the contracting activity (FA8750-14-D-0001).

Exelis to Provide Radar Simulators to Australia and Brazil

Exelis Inc., Fort Wayne, Ind., is being awarded a $7,028,919 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of up to 62 radar signal simulators in support of the MH-60R and S70-B aircraft for the U.S Navy (33), the government of Australia (27), and the government of Brazil (2) under the foreign military sales program. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-14-D-0005).

Exelis Receives Research and Development Contract Modification

Exelis Inc., Clifton, N.J., has been awarded a $16 million modification that increases the current indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract ceiling to $40,900,000 for research and development under the Integrated Demonstrations and Applications Research program to continue crucial threat assessments, technology evaluations and threat/technology model developments that support critical warfighter needs. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
