Five Firms to Research and Develop ISR Technologies

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, San Diego, California, is being awarded a potential $89,447,206 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, multiple award contract to provide research, development, test, and evaluation of emerging surveillance technologies, sensors and systems with potential for applicability in the areas of air, ground, and shipboard intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance and information operations systems. Stanley Associates Incorporated, Fairfax, Virgina, is being awarded a a potential $77,775,689. General Dynamics Information Technology Incorporated, Fairfax, Virginia, could receive as much as $76,559,590. Science Applications International Corporation, McLean, Virginia, will receive a potential $72,642,658, and L-3 Services Incorporated, Mount Laurel, New Jersey, could receive $62,640,527. Awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period. Each contract includes one two-year option. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.

DARPA Awards Mobile Edge Networking to SAIC

The contractor will provide a flexible smartphone mobile ad-hoc network, associated development, and test framework to ensure successful integration and validation of content-based mobile edge networking technology developer solutions. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is the contracting activity.

SAIC Submarine Detection Contract Modified

Eight Companies to Compete for Millions in C4I Task Orders

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity. J5 Systems, San Diego, California, is being awarded a potential $40,952,905 contract. Science Applications International Corporation receives a potential $38,268,950 award. Syzygy Technologies Incorporated, San Diego, is being awarded a potential $38,063,946 contract. DCS Corporation, Alexandria, Virginia, could receive up to $35,749,569. L-3 Services Incorporated, Mount Laurel New Jersey, will receive up to $34,009,339 if all options are exercised. CACI Incorporated, Federal, San Diego, California receives a potential $33,652,891. Stanley Associates Incorporated, Fairfax, Virginia will be awarded up to $33,173,111. Scientific Research Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia, could receive as much as $26,937,596 if all options are exercised.

SAIC Supports Air System Simulation

Science Applications International Corporation, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded an $11,195,326 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to exercise an option for technical and engineering services in support of the Naval Air Systems Command's Air Vehicle Engineering Department and the Manned Flight Simulator/Air Combat Environment Test and Evaluation facilities. Services to be provided support the development and utilization of advanced air vehicle technology for evaluating air vehicle flying qualities and controllability, developing simulation software, and building prototype simulations. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Science Applications International Corporation, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a $9,159,127 cost-plus-fix-fee contract for research and development software and reports. This effort consists of three phases, with phase one focused on core research. Phase two focuses on integrating system extensions and enhancements for improved functionality, automation, and scalability. Phase three focuses on further integration of system extensions emphasizing transition-related requirements such as improved security and resilience, and user interface requirements.
