Multiple Firms Support Army Research Laboratory

Science Application International Corporation, McLean, Virginia (W91CRB-11-D-0001); Battelle Memorial Institute, Columbus, Ohio (W91CRB-11-D-0002); Booz Allen Hamilton, McLean,Virginia (W91CRB-11-D-0003); Exelis Incorporated, Alexandria, Virginia (W91CRB-11-D-0004); Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Herndon, Virginia (W91CRB-11-D-0005); Wintec Arrowmaker Incorporated, Washington, Maryland (W91CRB-11-D-0006); and Technical and Project Engineering LLC, Alexandria, Virginia (W91CRB-11-D-0007), were awarded a $150,000,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to increase the contract ceiling for a previously awarded multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support the Army Research Lab's increased mission requirements. This is the third award and raises the contract ceiling to $630,000,000. Work and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 6, 2015. The Army Contracting Command, Triangle Park, North Carolina, is the contracting activity.

French Firm Awarded Data Acquisition Segment Contract

Cassidian SAS, Elancourt, France, has been awarded a maximum $98 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, with firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee and cost-reimbursement contract line item numbers for support and sustainment of the Eagle Vision Data Acquisition Segment (DAS). The sustainment effort includes systems support, telephone support, software/hardware maintenance, onsite/emergency support, security accreditation, configuration management, sustaining engineering, spare management, sustainment training and overall program management. The support effort includes sustaining engineering, technical refresh, and the procurement of additional DAS systems. Work will be performed at Elancourt, France, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 21, 2019. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity (FA8730-14-D-0022).

Aerospace Corporation Supports National Security Space Community

The Aerospace Corp., El Segundo, California, was awarded a $6,589,859 modification (P00012) to cost-plus-fixed-fee contract FA8802-14-C-0001, for general life cycle systems engineering and integration for the National Security Space Community. The contractor will provide planning, systems definition and technical specification support. They will also analyze user needs, design and design alternatives, interoperability, manufacturing and quality control. They will assist with test and evaluation, launch support, flight tests, orbital operations and integration of space systems into effective systems of systems. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity.

Areté Supports Coastal Battlefield Reconnaissance and Analysis

Areté Associates, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a $10,316,696 modification to previously awarded contract (N61331-11-C-0007) for engineering services in support of AN/DVS-1 Coastal Battlefield Reconnaissance and Analysis (COBRA) Block 1 program. The primary mission of AN/DVS-1 COBRA is to conduct unmanned aerial tactical reconnaissance in littoral battle space for detection and localization of mine fields and obstacles in the surf zone and beach zone prior to amphibious assault. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division, Panama City, Florida, is the contracting activity.

Airtec to Provide ISR Services in Columbia

Airtec Inc., California, Maryland, is being awarded a $10,780,768 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) services in support of the U.S. Army's Southern Command. The contractor will provide ISR services utilizing two contractor-owned, contractor-operated aircraft. Work will be performed in Bogota, Columbia, and is expected to be completed in May 2015. Bell-Boeing Supports MV-22 Radar Warning System

Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded $21,395,545 for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order 0096 against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-12-G-0006) for non-recurring engineering in support of the MV-22 Integrated Aircraft Survivability Equipment Universal Urgent Needs Statement Effort. This order provides for the replacement of the warning system and radar warning receiver system and upgrades the capabilities of the programmer and associated software. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland is the contracting activity.

Raytheon to Provide Command Launch Computers to Australia

Raytheon Missile Services, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded $24,559,600 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 0060 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-10-G-0006) for the procurement of 158 High Speed Anti-Radiation Command Launch Computers for the U.S. Navy (121) and the government of Australia (37) for F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($20,500,108; 83.5 percent) and the government of Australia ($4,059,492; 16.5 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Three Firms Awarded $2.5 Billion for Utility Monitoring

Johnson Controls BAS LLC, Huntsville, Alabama (W912DY-14-D-0050); Evergreen Fire Alarms LLC, Tacoma, Washington (W912DY-14-D-0051); and exp Federal Inc., Chicago, Illinois (W912DY-14-D-0052), were awarded a $2.5 billion combined firm-fixed-price contract for procurement and installation of utility monitoring and control and similar systems. Other contracts may be awarded under this solicitation. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Army Procures TASER Technology
