Bell-Boeing Supports MV-22 Radar Warning System

Bell-Boeing Joint Project Office, Amarillo, Texas, is being awarded $21,395,545 for cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order 0096 against a previously issued Basic Ordering Agreement (N00019-12-G-0006) for non-recurring engineering in support of the MV-22 Integrated Aircraft Survivability Equipment Universal Urgent Needs Statement Effort. This order provides for the replacement of the warning system and radar warning receiver system and upgrades the capabilities of the programmer and associated software. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland is the contracting activity.

Raytheon to Provide Command Launch Computers to Australia

Raytheon Missile Services, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded $24,559,600 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 0060 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-10-G-0006) for the procurement of 158 High Speed Anti-Radiation Command Launch Computers for the U.S. Navy (121) and the government of Australia (37) for F/A-18 E/F and EA-18G aircraft. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy ($20,500,108; 83.5 percent) and the government of Australia ($4,059,492; 16.5 percent) under the Foreign Military Sales program. Three Firms Awarded $2.5 Billion for Utility Monitoring

Johnson Controls BAS LLC, Huntsville, Alabama (W912DY-14-D-0050); Evergreen Fire Alarms LLC, Tacoma, Washington (W912DY-14-D-0051); and exp Federal Inc., Chicago, Illinois (W912DY-14-D-0052), were awarded a $2.5 billion combined firm-fixed-price contract for procurement and installation of utility monitoring and control and similar systems. Other contracts may be awarded under this solicitation. U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville, Alabama, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Army Procures TASER Technology

Missile Defense Agency Awards Simulation Contract

Modern Technology Solutions Inc. (MTSI), Alexandria, Virginia, is being awarded a maximum $25,472,255 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for modeling, simulation, algorithms and analysis techniques for Missile Defense Concept and Technology Development. This contract provides for development of foundational models, algorithms and data sets in areas critical to high-fidelity, closed-loop (HFCL) simulations of future sensors and interceptors including flight sciences, sensors, communications, algorithms, phenomenology and lethality. MTSI will develop HFCL simulations for the broad portfolio of future sensor and interceptor concepts. New models, algorithms and data sets will be integrated into simulations of interceptors, electro optical/infrared and radio frequency sensors. An additional capability will be provided to integrate these into a system of systems construct to represent the Ballistic Missile Defense System. Saudi Arabia Procures Airborne ISR Capabilities

L-3 Communications Corp., Integrated Systems Group, Greenville, Texas, has been awarded a $61,000,243 firm-fixed-price, undefinitized contract action for the modification and integration of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities onto two King Air 350 aircraft. This is 100 percent foreign military sales for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. FMS funds in the amount of $30,000,000 are being obligated at the time of award. L-3 to Provide Satellite Communications Security

Alion to Provide Sensor and Electron Device Technology

Alion Science and Technology Corp., Burr Ridge, Illinois, has been awarded a $14,024,395 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order (0081) on the AMMTIAC indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, sole-source (FA4600-06-D-0003) for Army Research Laboratory sensors and electron devices. AMMTIAC shall provide technical, engineering and expertise in the application of advanced materials, manufacturing and testing to sensors and emitters and their components, including the design and integration of systems to incorporate solutions and the use of prognostics and diagnostics to ensure the functionality and effectiveness of those solutions. TSS to Support Mobile Air Surveillance System
