Two Firms to Support Air Traffic Control in Southwest Asia

Midwest Air Traffic Control Service Inc., Overland Park, Kan. (N65236-14-D-4984) and Readiness Management Support LC, Panama City, Fla. (N65236-14-D-4985), are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, with provisions for firm-fixed-price task orders, performance based contract. The contracts are for the procurement of air traffic management and electronic equipment maintenance services to support air traffic control operations, airfield management, air to ground communications operations and maintenance, surveillance and precision radar systems operations and maintenance, voice communications systems operations and maintenance, and aviation command and control operations and maintenance. The cumulative, estimated ceiling value of the base year is $109,874,600. These contracts include options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative ceiling value of these contracts to an estimated $330,295,200. Work will be performed in Southwest Asia. Work is expected to be completed by April 2015. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.

Boeing to Update Poseidon Software

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded $8,747,003 for cost-plus-fixed-fee, delivery order 3008 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-11-G-0001) for software updates in support of the P-8A Poseidon aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Receives Tactical Control System Contract

Raytheon Co., Intelligence, Information and Services, Dulles, Va., is being awarded a $15,844,476 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost contract for non-recurring research and development support for the Tactical Control System (TCS). This effort continues the transition from the TCS baseline into the Unmanned Aerial System Control Segment architecture, integrates modern intuitive controls as identified during testing with fleet operators, automates testing procedures in support of future integration and production, and it supports the software baseline operating in the field. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity (N00019-14-C-0049).

Truetech to Provide Chemical Detector Kits

Truetech, Riverhead, N.Y., was awarded an $8,071,865 firm-fixed-price, multi-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the procurement of M256A2 chemical agent detector kits. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-14-D-0061).

Technology Firm to Support Defense Acquisition Office

Interactive Process Technology, Jamaica Plain, Mass., is being awarded an $8,257,570 modification (0001) to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (HQ0034-12-A-0010) to provide technical, analytical, and administrative support services to assist the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. Work will be performed in Alexandria, Va., Falls Church, Va., and Washington, D.C., with an expected completion date of April 22, 2017. Washington Headquarters Services, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

3 Phoenix to Develop Torpedo Warning System

3 Phoenix Inc., Chantilly, Va., is being awarded a $9,116,551 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-11-C-6287) for the procurement of engineering services for development, integration, testing, and logistic support of the torpedo warning system (TWS). The TWS provides surface ships with the ability to detect threat torpedoes and thereby employ defensive measures including maneuver and hard and soft kill countermeasures. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman Supports Minehunting Technology

Northrop Grumman, Annapolis, Md., is being awarded a $25 million modification to previously awarded contract (N61331-10-D-0009) for the continuation of depot level repair, maintenance, related engineering services, change kits and integrated logistics support documentation for the AN/AQS-14A Sonar Detecting Set, AQS-24 Mine Hunting System, ALQ-141 Acoustic Minehunting/Minesweeping System, USM-668 Intermediate Level Test Equipment (ILTE) and the Modified USM-668A ILTE and the Swivel Slip-Ring Assembly. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Fla., is the contracting activity.

U.S. Army Procures Parachute and Autonomous Guidance Unit
