Honeywell Receives Fiber Optic Gyro Contract Modification

Honeywell International Inc., Aerospace-Clearwater (Space), Clearwater, Fla., has been awarded a $7,279,938 modification (P00048) to an existing cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (FA9453-08-C-0263) for the Strategic Systems and Launch Technologies (SSLT) program. The contract modification is for an in-scope add work to Option III for additional work required to identify, test, and modify the design to develop a radiation hardened loop closure Application Specific Integration Circuit for the Strategic Fiber Optic Gyro. Detachment 8, Air Force Research Laboratory, Space Vehicles Contracting Division, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., is the contracting activity.

ManTech to Provide Modeling and Simulation

ManTech Systems Engineering Corp., Fairfax, Va., is being awarded a $24,248,855 modification to a previously awarded indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00421-13-D-0002) to exercise an option for the procurement of warfare analysis and assessments, modeling and simulation, advanced concept development and acquisition analysis support for the Naval Air Systems Command's Warfare Analysis and Integration Department. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Hydroid to Support Unmanned Underwater Systems

Hydroid Inc., Pocasset, Mass., is being awarded a $26,231,287 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering services, repair and training support for the Navy’s MK18 unmanned underwater vehicle family of systems. The contract includes a one-year base period with four one-year options. Work will be performed in Pocasset, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 2018. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Indian Head Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting activity (N00174-14-D-0001).

Lockheed Martin to Retrofit F-22s with Night Vision Capability

Lockheed Martin Corp., Fort Worth, Texas, has been awarded a $19,763,075 option exercise (P0050) to an existing cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (FA8611-08-C-2897) to retrofit fielded mission training centers without the window visual systems upgrade and night vision goggles capability. Effort includes upgrades for F-22 training systems at Sheppard Air Force Base (AFB), Texas; Tyndall AFB, Fla.; Langley AFB, Va.; Hickam AFB, Hawaii, and Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
