Multiple Firms to Compete for $250 Million Cloud Computing Services

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Manassas, Virginia; International Business Machines Corporation, Bethesda, Maryland; HP Enterprise Services, L.L.C., Herndon, Virginia; Northrop Grumman, Herndon, Virginia; General Dynamics One Source, L.L.C., Fairfax, Virginia; MicroTech L.L.C., Vienna, Virginia; and Criterion Systems Incorporated, Vienna, Virginia, were awarded a $249.8 million firm-fixed-price contract between multiple contractors. The award will provide for the enterprise cloud computing services in support of the U.S. Army Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Alexandria, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

HP Enterprises Awarded Defense Manpower Data Center Contract

HP Enterprise Services LLC, Herndon, Virginia, is being awarded an estimated $22,638,387 firm-fixed price, requirements contract for the Defense Manpower Data Center's user support. The Defense Human Resources Activity Procurement Support Office, Alexandria, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

Special Operations Awards $68 Million Data Center Services Contract

HP Enterprise Services Limited Liability Company, Herndon, Virginia, is being awarded a single, 4-year, $68 million contract for data center services in support of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Under the Special Operations Forces information technology enterprise contracts, data center services contract, the selected contractor will provide enterprise-wide data center management support services to manage USSOCOM's global enterprise information technology server and storage computing environment providing coverage for USSOCOM headquarters, all component commands, and subordinate commands.

NASA Awards $2.5 Billion Consolidated Information Technology Contract

NASA recently awarded a 10-year, $2.5 billion contract to HP Enterprise Services of Herndon, Virginia, for Agency Consolidated End-user Services (ACES). The contract will be managed at the NASA Shared Services Center in Mississippi. The ACES contract will develop a long-term outsourcing arrangement with the commercial sector to provide and manage most of NASA's personal computing hardware, agency-standard software, mobile information technology (IT) services, peripherals and accessories, associated end-user services, and supporting infrastructure. HP Enterprise Services will provide, manage, secure and maintain these essential IT services for the agency.

U.S. Navy Awards Potential $3.4 Billion NMCI Contract

HP Enterprise Services today signed a continuity of services contract with the U.S. Department of the Navy, valued in excess of $3 billion, if all options are exercised. The contract enables the Navy to transition the comprehensive, end-to-end information technology services presently provided under the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) contract to the Next Generation Enterprise Network contract in a manner that minimizes the possible risks to the Navy's information technology operations and security, according to an HP announcement.
