Raytheon Continues Supporting Taiwan Surveillance Radar

Raytheon Co., Sudbury, Mass., is being awarded a $289,458,942 cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price, cost reimbursement contract for follow-on sustainment support of the Taiwan Surveillance Radar Program. The contracting activity is the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass.              

QinetiQ to Provide Talon Robots to Poland

QinetiQ North America Incorporated, Waltham, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $6,802,527 firm-fixed-price contract for Talon Generation IV robot vehicles, spares and accessories, depot level repair parts, shipping and training. Work will be performed in Waltham and Poland and is expected to complete by March 2013. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Saudi Arabia Purchases Rockwell Collins Receiver-Transmitters

Rockwell Collins Incorporated, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $14,495,712 contract  to exercise an option for 168 RT-1851A(C)/ARC receiver-transmitters (including royalty fees) for the government of Saudi Arabia under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

ITT to Provide Night Vision to United Kingdom

The award will provide for the procurement of monocular night vision devices in support of Foreign Military Sales for the United Kingdom. Northrop Grumman to Provide Radar to Three Countries

Northrop Grumman Electronic Systems, Linthicum Heights, Maryland, is being awarded an $87.8 million dollar firm fixed price contract a Foreign Military Sales  program which will provide an AN/APG- 68 (V) 9 radar systems for the Royal Thai Air Force (6), the Republic of Iraq (22) and the Royal Air Force of Oman (15) for a total of 43 radar systems. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting authority.

Three Countries Purchase Jam-Resistant Technology

ViaSat, Carlsbad, California, is being awarded more than $27 million for multifunctional information distribution system-low volume terminals (MIDS-LVTs). Data Link Solutions, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was awarded a nearly $24 million contract delivery order for MIDS-LVT. The MIDS-LVT provides secure, high-capacity, jam-resistant, digital data and voice communications capability for U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army platforms. These awards combine purchases for the United States and the governments of Japan and Australia under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
