Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Serco Incorporated and CACI Incorporated recently received contracts for program management and technical support services for the Naval Operational Logistics support Center's Ordnance Information System, which is used to track Navy ordnance worldwide. CSC's contract is valued at a potential $49 million, Serco's $44 million and CACI's $36 million. L-3 Communications Ocean Systems, Sylmar, California, is being awarded a potential $27 million contract for Low Frequency Active Towed Sonar (LFATS) for the Egyptian Navy under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The LFATS is a long-range active/passive variable-depth sonar that consists of an operator console, power amplifier, towed body arrays, and handling system. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C. is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Company Integrated Defense Systems, Sudbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $55 million contract modification to exercise an option for the production of an Aegis ashore test site AN/SPY-1D(V) Transmitter Group and MK 99 Mod 8 Fire Control System. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corporation Maritime Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Virginia, was recently awarded a $155 million contract modification for the design and support of the manufacture of hardware for the Acoustic Rapid Commercial-off-the-shelf Insertion (A-RCI) system improvement and integration program. A-RCI is a sonar system that integrates and improves towed array, hull array, sphere array, and other ship sensor processing through rapid insertion of commercial-off-the-shelf-based hardware and software. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems, Sudbury, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $46.8 million modification to a previously awarded contract for the definitization of the production of an AN/SPY-1D(V) transmitter group, MK 99 Mod 8 fire control system and engineering services in support of the DDG 113 Aegis weapons systems ship set. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.

The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded an $8 million delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for non-recurring engineering associated with the integration of a synthetic radar Virtual Mission Training System (VMTS) into T-45C aircraft. Efforts to be provided include design, integration, test, validation and verification of two flight-worthy VMTS retrofit kits. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

DTI Associates Incorporated has been awarded an $11 million the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division requirement for continuing and uninterrupted engineering support performed in support of Engagement Systems Department programs and activities. This contract will provide engineering support for critical and high-priority programs such as Precision Strike Package; Littoral Combat Ship; Electromagnetic Railgun Launcher; GunPACS; and Strategic Border Initiative.

EDO Communications & Countermeasures Systems, wholly owned by ITT Force Protection Systems, Thousand Oaks, California, is being awarded a nearly $18 million modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise options for the production and support of 260 Counter Radio-Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (CREW) 2.1 systems with the Band C Engineering Change Proposal upgrade to meet urgent U.S. Defense Department requirements in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. CREW 2.1 systems are vehicle mounted electronic jammers designed to prevent the initiation of RCIED. This contract is for the urgent procurement and support of CREW systems to be used by forces in each of the military services of the Central Command Area of Responsibility. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
