Metron to Develop Unmanned Undersea Vehicle

Metron Inc., Reston, Va.,is being awarded a $7,287,619 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development of a large displacement unmanned undersea vehicle (LDUUV) to include in-lab integration and testing of autonomy and mission planning software with bench test hardware selected for deployment on the LDUUV. This one-year contract includes two, one-year options which, if exercised, would bring the potential, cumulative value of this contract to an estimated $18,317,018. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity. 

U.S. Navy Purchases Hawkeye III Equipment

L-3 Global Communications Solutions, Victor, N.Y., is being awarded an $8,093,065 firm-fixed-price General Services Administration delivery order to acquire Hawkeye III Lite tri-band antennas and Hawkeye diplexer kits for the Deployable Joint Command and Control Rapid Response kits and Sensitive Compartmented Information kits for the expeditionary command and control suite. This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $10,530,855. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division, Panama City, Fla., is the contracting activity. 

FLIR Systems to Provide Laser Spotter to Hungary

FLIR Systems Inc., Billerica, Mass., is being awarded a $10,090,426 firm-fixed-priced, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for SEE SPOT III+ Systems, test, teardown and evaluation, repairs, spares and data. The SEE SPOT III+ is a device that provides the user with the ability to view the Special Operations Force Laser Acquisition Markers invisible laser spot in the target scene field view. This contract supports a purchase for the government of Hungary under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Billerica, Mass., and is expected to be completed by May 2018. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Ind., is the contracting activity.  

Honeywell to Provide Cyber Readiness Services

Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Columbia, Md., is being awarded a not to exceed $14,240,320 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with firm-fixed-price provisions for continuation of technical and analytical support services for the Office of Compliance and Assessment. Services shall include conducting command cyber readiness inspections, cybersecurity inspections and command assessment and training in support of Fleet Cyber Command’s Cyber Security Inspection Certification Program and verification, validation, and reporting effort foroversight of Navy Marine Corps Intranet/Next Generation Enterprise Network. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $25,896,361. Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity. 

Lockheed Martin to Provide Undersea Warfare System to Japan

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $111,512,730 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-only, firm-fixed-price contract for the development, integration and production of AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Surface Ship Undersea Warfare Systems. The AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 is a Surface Ship Undersea Warfare combat system with the capabilities to search, detect, classify, localize and track undersea contacts, and to engage and evade submarines, mine-like small objects and torpedo threats. The contract is for development, integration and production of future Advanced Capability Build and Technical Insertion baselines of the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 USW Systems. This contract is for the government of Japan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. 

Northrop Awarded Hawkeye Full Rate Production Contract

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded an $113,723,443 advance acquisition contract with fixed-price line items for long lead materials and related support for the full rate production of five E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Lot 2 aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting. 

BAE Awarded Common Data Link Contract

BAE Systems, Electronic Systems Division, Wayne, N.J., is being awarded a $7,383,414 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the acquisition of hardware, software, performance enhancements and maintenance of BAE Software Compliant Architecture Common Data Link family of products. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Va., is the contracting activity. 

Integration Technologies to Provide Desktops, Notebooks and Tablets

Integration Technologies Group Inc., Falls Church, Va., is being awarded a $20,279,774 firm-fixed-price delivery order under previously awarded contract to provide ONE-NET PC refresh hardware to various locations outside the continental U.S. locations. The government will receive the first order for desktops, notebooks or tablets for testing, inspection and approval. On government acceptance of the first unit, the contractor will deliver additional units ordered to locations specified. This two-year delivery order includes one, two-year option which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative, not-to-exceed value of this delivery order to an estimated $40,559,548. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity. 

Lockheed Martin to Integrate Remote Minehunting System with Littoral Combat Ship

Lockheed Martin Corp., Palm Beach, Fla., is being awarded a not-to-exceed $52,947,551 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to perform maintenance, testing and integration of the Remote Minehunting System with Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) mission modules and LCS seaframe programs. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. 

Three Firms Awarded Force Protection Contract

Alutiiq Pacific LLC, Anchorage, Alaska; Securityhunter Inc., Baltimore, Md.; and Split Pine Technologies LLC, Tallahassee, Fla., are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract for physical security access control at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy. The maximum dollar value including the base period and two option years for all three contracts combined is $99 million. The work to be performed provides for the design, procurement, installation, integration, testing and initial training for anti-terrorism force protection (ATFP) hardware and software at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy.  Securityhunter Inc., is being awarded task order (#0001) at $2,698,396 for the design, procurement installation, integration, testing and initial training for ATFP hardware and software of the General Enclave and Automated Vehicle Gate Low Volume Reeves Gate at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Lemoore, Calif. All work on this contract will be performed at Navy shore installations throughout the world, including joint bases assigned to the Navy. The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center, Port Hueneme, Calif., is the contracting activity.
