Northrop to Provide Missile Warning System Sensors

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Electronic Systems Sector, Land and Self Protection Systems Division, Rolling Meadows, Ill., is being awarded a $14,868,396 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to exercise an option to procure 90 sensors and associated technical data in support of the Advanced Threat Missile Warning System, a subsystem of the Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasures System. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Multiple Firms to Provide U.S. Navy C5ISR

AASKI Technology Inc., Ocean, N.J.; Advanced C4 Solutions Inc., Tampa, Fla.; By Light Professional IT Services Inc., Arlington, Va.; Cybrix Group Inc., Tampa, Fla.; GStek Inc., Chesapeake, Va; Juno Technologies Inc., Rancho Santa Fe, Calif.; Mercom Inc., Pawleys Island, S.C.; Mystikal Solutions LLC, North Charleston, S.C.; STARGATES Inc., Arlington, Va.; and Syneren Technologies Corp., Lanham, Md., are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based, multiple award contracts, with provisions for fixed-price-incentive and firm-fixed-price orders, to provide command, control, communications, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance electronics and communications services and solutions in support of mission capabilities within the transport and computing infrastructure portfolio to provide the full system life cycle support including research, development, test, evaluation, production and fielding of sustainable, secure, survivable, and interoperable C5ISR, information operations, enterprise information services and space capabilities. These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these multiple award contracts to an estimated $98,760,000. These 10 contractors may compete for the task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contracts. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.

Boeing to Update P-8A Electronic Support Measures

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded an $8,512,436 cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order issued under basic ordering agreement to procure the update to the electronic support measures sensor digital measurement unit to overcome obsolescence issues in support of the P-8A Multi-Mission Maritime aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River Md., is the contracting activity.

DRS to Provide Below-Deck Radar Sets

DRS C3 and Aviation, Gaithersburg, Md., is being awarded a $8,222,300 firm-fixed-price contract for AN/SPS-67 (V)5 below-deck radar sets and an installation check-out kit for DDG 114, DDG 115 and DDG 116 . The radar set is a short range two dimensional, surface search/navigation radar system that provides highly accurate surface and limited low-flyer detection and tracking capabilities. The AN/SPS-67(V) provides C-Band radar navigation, station keeping/surface search functions, and a digital moving-target indicator.

Raytheon Receives Sensor Netting System Production Funds

Raytheon Network Centric Systems, St. Petersburg, Fla., is being awarded a $20,334,000 not-to-exceed firm-fixed-price letter contract for Cooperative Engagement Capabilities (CEC) production during fiscal years 2012-2013. CEC is a sensor netting system that significantly improves battle force anti-air warfare capability by extracting and distributing sensor-derived information such that the superset of this data is available to all participating CEC units. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, DC, is the contracting activity.

Insitu to Modernize ScanEagle

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Wash., is being awarded a $12,430,363 delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for the hardware required to modernize the ScanEagle unmanned aerial systems and the systems ancillary equipment. This hardware includes replacement/upgraded air vehicles and components. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity. 

Boeing P-8A Contract Modified

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $13,160,440 contract modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of spare parts in support of 10 operational flight trainers, seven weapons tactics trainers, three part task trainers, training systems support center and 15 electronic classrooms for the P-8A program. This contract also provides services including: managing spare parts and delivery, coordinating orders, quotes, and receiving process, procuring Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15 classified parts, supporting inventory inspection processes, and delivering spares to the government. The Naval Air System Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.   

Northrop Supports Hawkeye Production

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $15,004,104 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract modification for additional system engineering and software maintenance for the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Low Rate Initial Production Lots 1 and 2 aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity. 

BAH Supports Cyber Readiness

Booz Allen Hamilton Incorporated, Norfolk, Va., is being awarded a not to exceed $9,917,282 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for continuation of technical and analytical support services for the Operational Designated Approval Authority (ODAA) and the Office of Compliance and Assessment (OCA). Support shall include assisting the ODAA in certification and accreditation and related activities for systems, sites, networks, and applications and assisting the OCA with conducting command cyber readiness inspections and cyber security inspections. The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity. 

Saudi Arabia Purchases Voice Communications Capability

Data Link Solutions, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded $6,912,840 for firm-fixed-price delivery order under a previously awarded contract for Multifunctional Information Distribution System-Low Volume Terminals (MIDS-LVTs). The MIDS-LVT provides secure, high-capacity, jam-resistant, digital data and voice communications capability for U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army platforms and other foreign users worldwide. This delivery order is for the government of Saudi Arabia under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity.
