Boeing P-8A Contract Receives $175 Million Modification

The Boeing Co., Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $175,500,000 modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-award-fee contract for the procurement of engineering, integration, and test efforts for the stores management, acoustics, and communication subsystem modifications for integration into the baseline P-8A aircraft weapon system. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River Md., is the contracting activity. 

Lockheed Receives Funds for Airborne Mine Countermeasures

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Owego, N.Y., is being awarded a $9,088,594 firm-fixed-price and cost-reimbursement modification to a previously issued delivery order for additional airborne mine countermeasures test support and system development efforts in support of the MH-60S aircraft. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity. 

Engility to Support Presidential Helicopters Program

Engility Corp., Mount Laurel, N.J., is being awarded a $9,746,234 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technical and engineering support services in the areas of requirement specification, design, implementation, test, management, and maintenance of laboratory/information system and project/program related software in support of the VH Executive Transportation Program, the MH-53 program, the VXX program, and Avionics System Integration. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity. 

U.S. Firm to Provide Antennas to Australia

Sensor and Antenna Systems, Lansdale Inc., Lansdale, Pa., is being awarded a $31,738,199 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-10-C-0047) to exercise an option to procure 22 low band transmitters (LBT), 16 vertically polarized (VPOL) antennas, and 21 high band horizontally polarized (HPOL) antennas for the AN/ALQ-99 Tactical Jamming System for the U.S. Navy; and 11 LBTs, seven VPOL Antennas, six Band-2 B2AIA, and eight High Band HPOL antennas for the AN/ALQ-99 TJS for the Government of Australia under the Foreign Military Sales Program. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the government of Australia. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity. 

SEDNA to Research Future Naval Acoustic Systems

SEDNA Digital Solutions LLC, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $14,964,337 contract modification to exercise previously awarded options for engineering and technical services to support development, integration, test, demonstration and certification of a high-fidelity front end simulation for common processing systems. This effort includes exploring new approaches to high-fidelity stimulation for testing sensor interfaces and processing, as well as developing new or augmenting existing capabilities as required to meet the acoustic processing needs for the Navy's submarine sonar systems. These services will provide for the continued engineering, fabrication, test, installation, and training services for the analysis, design and, prototyping of components related to open architecture concepts for an improved capability for both legacy and future variants of Navy acoustic systems. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. 

Northrop to Support Fire Scout in Afghanistan

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, San Diego, Calif., is being awarded a $15,010,161 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for operations and maintenance services in support of the MQ-8B Fire Scout. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, and Patuxent River, Md., and is expected to be completed in November 2013. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity. 

Submarine Imaging System Contract Modified

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $12,276,792 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract to exercise an option for engineering service support of the AN/BVY-1 Integrated Submarine Imaging System (ISIS). The AN/BVY-1 ISIS provides mission critical, all-weather, visual, and electronic search, digital image management, indication, warning and platform architecture interface capabilities for U.S. Navy submarines. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity. 

BAH to Support Bureau of Medicine and Surgery Deputy CIO

URS to Support Electronic Warfare

URS Federal Technical Services Inc., Germantown Md., is being awarded a maximum value $7,893,315 fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for engineering, technical, and programmatic support for the Spectrum Electronic Warfare Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane, Ind. Spectrum Electronic Warfare Department’s primary focus areas are in direct support of airborne electronic defense, airborne electronic attack, maritime, and expeditionary divisions. This contract is a continuation of current services, pending the competitive award of follow-on support. Contract support tasks include: research and development support; system engineering and process engineering; modeling, simulation, and analysis; prototyping, pre-production, model-making and fabrication support; system design documentation and technical data support; software engineering, development, programming and network support; reliability, maintainability and availability; human factors, performance and usability engineering; system safety engineering; configuration management; quality assurance; interoperability, test & evaluation, trials; logistics; supply and provisioning; training; and program support. Rockwell Receives High Frequency Radio Funds

Rockwell Collins Inc., Cedar Rapids, Iowa, is being awarded a $10,947,863 firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to procure up to a maximum of 41 ARC-243 High Frequency Radio System including 200 hours of associated engineering support. The ARC-243 HF radio system includes the receiver exciter, antenna coupler, power supply and associated mounts. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity.
