ViaSat Inc., has been awarded a U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center contract potentially valued at $29.9 million for tactical data link and satellite communications equipment and engineering support services. The contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the government of the Republic of Turkey  under the Foreign Military Sales program.

SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific personnel and sailors from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit ONE retrieve an unmanned underwater vehicle deployed to detect mines and improvised explosives in shallow water environments.
