Exelis Inc., Clifton, N.J., has been awarded a not-to-exceed $75,281,878 firm-fixed-price, time and material, undefinitized contract award for ALQ-211(V)-9 Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare System (AIDEWS) pod acquisition. The contractor will provide 21 ALQ-211(V)-9 AIDEWS pods, associated support services, support equipment, countermeasures dispensing system integration and spares in support of the Turkish Air Force F-16D Block 50 program. This award is the result of a source-directed, sole-source acquisition and is 100 percent foreign military sales for Turkey.

Kuanta Insaat Taahhut Elektronik Tur, San VE TIC.A.S., Ankara, Turkey, is being awarded a $7,444,761 firm-fixed-price contract to provide acquisitions of Air Traffic Control and Landing System and navigational aids in support of Afghanistan's Air Force's rotary and fixed wing flying training program at Shindand Air Base, Afghanistan. The location of the performance is Ankara, Turkey.  Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Maine, is the contracting activity.

The U.S. Air Force-Europe (USAFE) has awarded ITT Systems, Colorado Springs, Colorado, the USAFE Communication Support Contract. The total potential value of the contract is almost $18 million over the course of six years. ITT will provide program management, communications equipment maintenance, logistics support, computers and computer peripherals and cellular instrument support for base communications throughout Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and Turkey, as well as long-haul communications support across Europe.

ViaSat Inc., has been awarded a U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center contract potentially valued at $29.9 million for tactical data link and satellite communications equipment and engineering support services. The contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the government of the Republic of Turkey  under the Foreign Military Sales program.
