Progeny Systems to Develop Net-Ready P-8A Architecture

Progeny Systems Corp., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $8,257,426 cost-plus-fixed-fee Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase III contract under Topic N121-045, entitled “Maritime Airborne Service Oriented Architecture Integration.” The objective of this SBIR effort is to design and develop a maritime airborne service oriented engineering development model of the P-8A increment 3 architecture. This model is necessary to support the P-8A net ready and interoperability requirements which includes research and development for the source code and the Unified Modeling Language Model. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-13-G-0001).

Progeny to Provide Combat Control System to Australia

Progeny Systems Corp., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $7,050,538 cost-plus-fixed fee contract with firm-fixed-price line items for continued support of the multi-tube weapon simulator (MTWS) and common weapon launcher (CWL) products and services.This procurement will provide the necessary technical services and associated products to support technology improvements and enhanced capabilities for in-service CWL and MTWS systems in support of the AN/BYG-1 combat control system.This contract includes options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $19,165,448.This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the government of Australia under the Foreign Military Sales Program.The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-13-C-6259).

U.S. Navy Modifies Portal Contract

Progeny Systems Corp., Manassas, Va., is being awarded a $10,989,287 cost-plus-fixed-fee modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-08-C-6278) to exercise an option for Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase III engineering and technical support services in support of SBIR Topic No.N03-049, “Automation and Work Flow Advances Using Technology Infusions for Manning Reduction.” The concept for this SBIR is for a Navy-wide implementation of portal technology for internal and external information sharing requirements. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
