General Atomics to Extend Reaper Range

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, Calif., has been awarded an NTE $26,222,034 undefinitized contract action (FA8620-10-G-3038 DO 0106) for Extended Range Phase 2 to provide extended range capabilities for the Block 1 MQ-9 aircraft. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio is the contracting activity.

Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp Receives Sensors Contract

Georgia Tech Applied Research Corp., Atlanta, Ga., has been awarded a $49,836,788 delivery order (HC1047-05-D-4000-0241) for SENSIAC cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for rapid sensor technology analysis, development, and testing to include analysis (including paper studies, modeling and simulation, laboratory experiments, and operational evaluations) of sensor technologies relative to operational requirements. This delivery order is the result of an award on an existing indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Enterprise Sourcing Group, Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., is the contracting activity.

Sonalysts to Provide GPS Training System

Sonalysts, Waterford, Conn., has been being awarded a $17,149,698 modification (P00038) on a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (FA8806-08-C-0001) for Standard Space Trainer (SST) Global Positioning System Next Generation Operation Control System Mission Specific Vendor Plug-In. The contract modification is for development of a training system to operate within the SST training environment. Space and Missile Systems Center Range and Network Division, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif., is the contracting activity.        

SAIC to continues Angel Fire and Blue Devil Support in Afghanistan

Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va., has been awarded a not-to-exceed $30 million modification (P00038) to an undefinitized contractual action (FA8650-10-C-1887) for operations and maintenance (O&M) of Angel Fire Spiral 2+ Blue Devil Block I. Work will be performed in Afghanistan. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $243,484,412. The contract modification is for the Blue Devil Block 1 outside the continental United States O&M program, which will provide operational mission support of deployed warfighters with an advanced multi-intelligence, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance sensor system. This additional work reflects the extension of the program up to six months. Air Force Research Laboratory, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.  

General Atomics Awarded MQ-9 Technology Insertion Contract

General Atomics-Aeronautical Systems, Inc., Poway, Calif., has been awarded a $39,455,726 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the MQ-9 Technology Insertion Technical Solution. This contract action will modify MQ-9 Block 5, Ground Control Station (GCS) Block 30 and GCS Block 50 as required to enable integration and testing of the tech insertion capability. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity. U.S. Air Force Awards $960 Million NETCENTS-2 Contract

Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Solutions, Owego, N.Y., (FA8732-13-D-0001); TYBRIN Corp., Fort Walton Beach, Fla., (FA8732-13-D-0002); Harris IT Services Corp., Dulles, Va., (FA8732-13-D-0005); SRA International, Fairfax, Va., (FA8732-13-D-0003); Raytheon, Garland, Texas, (FA8732-13-D-0006); and L-3 National Security Solutions, Reston, Va., (FA8732-13-D-0004) have been awarded a $960 million multiple-award, indefinite- delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract for Network-Centric Solutions-2 (NETCENTS-2) Application Services. This contract vehicle will provide services such as sustainment, migration, integration, training, help desk support, testing and operational support. Other services include, but are not limited to, exposing data from authoritative data sources to support web-services or service oriented architecture constructs in Air Force enterprise environments. This contract vehicle is the mandatory source for all Air Force units purchasing services that fall under the scope of the contract. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Ala., is the contracting activity. 

U.S. Air Force Modifies NORAD Support Contract

Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services, Colorado Springs, Colo., has been awarded a $20,794,692 modification (P00288) to contract (F19628-00-C-0019) to support critical mission operations for North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex/Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC/ITW/AA) in support of air, missile and space defense for the national command authority.  The total cumulative face value of the contract (including this modification) is $1,800,000,000. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity. 

Lockheed Martin to Support Cheyenne Mountain Operations

Lockheed Martin Information Systems and Global Services, Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $11,996,522 modification to a cost-plus-incentive-fee and cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to support critical mission operations for North America Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex/integrated tactical warning/attack assessment and Mobile Consolidated Command Center missions in support of air, missile and space defense for the national command authority. Joint Space Operations Center (JSpOC) mission systems (JMS) is the development effort Space and Missiles System Center is using to incrementally transition away from the legacy space situational awareness mission, and is intended to be the next step towards migration of the space surveillance catalog maintenance capability from the Space Defense Operations Center and CAVENet systems to a high-performance, sustainable, and network-centric computing platform by migrating the astrodynamics support workstation  and special perturbations tasker applications to JMS. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity.  
 

SRI to Develop Digital Video Library Prototype Systems

SRI International, Menlo Park, Calif., has been awarded a $230 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for hardware, software, prototype systems, spiral software enhancements and installation training support for the Digital Video Laboratory III. The basic contract is a five-year contract. Air Force Test Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity. 

General Atomics Awarded MQ-9 Contract Modification

General Atomics - Aeronautical Systems Inc., Poway, Calif., has been awarded a $23,951,449 modification to a cost-plus-incentive and firm-fixed-price contract for additional 904.6 systems release tasks for the MQ-9 Hunter and Killer System Development and Demonstration (SDD) bridge effort. The total cumulative face value of the contract is $114,143,253. The modification includes additional capabilities added to the basic SDD bridge effort, one aircraft retrofit, and one Systems Integration Laboratory upgrade. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
