C-130 Avionics Modernization Contract Modified

The Boeing Company, Wichita, Kansas, is being awarded a $61 million contract modification for the C-130 Avionic Modernization Program (AMP) low rate initial production, part two to Lot 2, including two C-130 AMP kits; engineering and program management support; initial spares and support equipment for Little Rock Air Force Base and St. Joseph's Air National Guard Base; a functional test bed modification; a C-130 AMP part task trainer; and a C-130 AMP Weapon System Trainer. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Northrop to Keep Global Hawk Development Program Operating

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Integrated Systems Sector, San Diego, California, is being awarded an approximate $22 million contract modification and a more than $13 million modification. The first is for: software maintenance, covering the tasks necessary for the contractor to maintain and support software for air vehicle, ground and support segments; and flight test, covering the tasks necessary for the Global Hawk (GH) system integrator (prime contractor) to participate in planning, provisioning, conducting, analyzing, and documenting an integrated GH Combined Development/Operational Flight Test Program. These tasks provide the software maintenance and flight test to keep the development program operating. The second if for the infrastructure portion of the engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) block load effort, which provides for the necessary tasks that allow the contractor to manage the day-to-day EMD contract operations of the Global Hawk weapon system including air vehicle, ground segment, and support segment. These tasks provide the infrastructure necessary to keep the developmental program operational. Raytheon's Miniature Air Launched Decoy Contract Modified

Raytheon Missile Company, Tucson, Arizona, is being awarded a nearly $83 million contract modification for the Miniature Air Launched Decoy low rate initial production lot four. Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.

EDO to Provide Radio Frequency Surveillance Components

EDO Corporation, North Amityville, New York, is being awarded a $20 million contract modification for the repair of AN/ALG-161A Radio Frequency Surveillance/Electronic Countermeasures System components; 225 repair contract line items; one contract line item for material; and one contract line item for travel. The 638 Supply Chain Management Wing, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Air Force Modifies Global Positioning System Contract

The Boeing Company, Seal Beach, California, is being awarded a $16 million contract modification to the existing Boeing IIF sustainment contract for the Global Positioning System. This contract will provide fiscal 2011 funding for four sustainment contract line item numbers, to include contractor software maintenance, contract hardware maintenance, sustainment, and sustainment engineering. It will also provide fiscal 2011 funding to support proposal preparation. Boeing will provide personnel and infrastructure, including supplies and services, to specifically perform software maintenance, hardware maintenance, sustainment engineering support and proposal preparation. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Air Force Procures Processors for Predator/Reaper Program
