BAE to Support Radar Systems

BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services Incorporated, Rockville, Maryland, is being awarded an approximate $7 million firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, cost-plus-fixed-fee, and fixed-price-incentive-fee contract for the Instrumentation Radar Support Program that provides engineering, logistics, and maintenance support for various instrumentation ranges belonging to 24 ranges (foreign and domestic). The 45 Contracting Squadron, Patrick Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.

Vision System Receives $46 Million for Helmet Mounted Cueing System

Vision System International L.L.C., San Jose, California, was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $36 million value for various spares and support equipment in support of the A/24A-56 Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System. The company was also awarded a more than $10 million contract for cable assemblies and transmitter subassemblies applicable to the same system. Using services are U.S. Navy, Air Force, and the Defense Logistics Agency. The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.

Abacus Technology to Support Saudi Arabia Air Force

CACI-WGI to Support Counter-IED Operations in Iraq

The award will provide for the support services to the Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization's Operations and Training Division. Work will be performed in Iraq, and Arlington, Virginia. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Army Awards Support Contract for Vehicle Inspection Systems in Afghanistan

American Science and Engineering Incorporated, Billerica, Massachusetts, was awarded a firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract valued at about $32 million. The award will provide for the modification of an existing contract to provide on-site maintenance and sustainment on Non-Intrusive Vehicle Inspection Systems Z backscatter vans. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Billerica, Massachusetts, with an estimated completion date of June 27, 2012.
