SEDNA Provides Acoustic Interception and Countermeasures

SEDNA Digital Solutions, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a $14 million modification to a previously awarded contract to exercise an option for the production of AN/WLY-1 acoustic interception and countermeasures systems and technology insertion kits, active intercept and ranging systems, and Archival Media Center systems, including pre-cable kits, maintenance assistance modules, and spares in support of Navy submarine programs. Also included are engineering services and ordering provisions for spare parts. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

AeroVironment Receives Norwegian Defense Logistics Organization Contract

AeroVironment Incorporated recently announced it received an order valued at nearly $5 million under a contract with the Norwegian Defense Logistics Organization. The order comprises new Raven small, unmanned aircraft systems, spares, training services and logistics support. Delivery of the systems is scheduled for early calendar 2011.

Dynamic Research to Support DHS Chief Information Office

Dynamics Research Corporation recently announced a four-year, $20 million contract award to support the enterprise architecture needs of the Department of Homeland Security's Office of the Chief Information Officer. Awarded through the General Services Administration Alliant contract, the work will modernize the department's information technology assets and architecture, providing for collaboration across divisions and centralizing the capture and management of enterprise knowledge. The work ensures that the department's investments are cost-effective and mission-focused and that its information technology programs and assets are well-managed to maximize their return on investment.

Northrop Grumman Receives Hawkeye Support Contract

Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, Bethpage, New York, is being awarded a $19 million delivery order to provide integrated logistics support for low rate initial production E-2D aircraft. These efforts will support the transition to an anticipated post-material support date performance based logistics solution. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Eight Firms to Support Simulators Under $900 Million Effort

Eight companies-The Boeing Company, St. Louis, Missouri; CAE USA Incorporated, Tampa, Florida; Computer Sciences Corporation, Orlando, Florida; Cubic Worldwide Technical Services Incorporated, San Diego, California; Engineering Support Personnel Incorporated, Orlando; Fidelity Technologies Corporation, Reading, Pennsylvania; L-3 Link Simulation & Training Division, Arlington, Texas; and LB&B Associates Incorporated, Columbia, Maryland-are each being awarded contracts to support more than 900 training simulators for the U.S. Navy, Army and Air Force and the governments of Kuwait and Malaysia under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Services include operations and maintenance support, instruction, training device modifications, training device relocations, training system management, in-service engineering office support, spares/product support, and other related trainer support services. The aggregate not-to-exceed amount for these multiple award contracts combined is $900 million, and each contractor will be provided an opportunity to compete for individual task orders. The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division, Orlando, is the contracting activity.

DCG Systems to Provide Logic Analysis Tool

DCG Systems Incorporated, Fremont, California, was awarded a $13 million contract to provide a logic analysis tool program to investigate new methods for the functional testing of a circuit to include logic states and timing of individual transistors and internal nodes of an integrated circuit. Raytheon to Repair AGM-88 Control and Guidance Sections

Wyle Laboratories Supports Hawkeye Aircraft for Multiple Countries
