Progeny Awarded Submarine Command and Control Contract

Progeny Systems Corporation, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a potential $78 million contract to provide engineering services, including research and development, analyzing, design, fabrication and integration of hardware and/or software solutions that collectively provide command and control, communications and intelligence functionality for delivery to Navy submarines. This effort is being awarded under the Small Business Innovative Research Program and is titled Topic No. N96-278, "Technology Infusion Methodology for Commercial Off The Shelf-based systems." The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

U.S. Air Force Selects L-3 for Key Management Station Support

U.S. Air Force Awards $85 Million Test Center Support Contract

Science Applications International Corporation, Company 117 Health, Energy 7 Civil Solutions, McLean, Virginia, is being awarded a maximum $85 million contract to provide engineering and technical services to support U.S. Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) in accomplishment of operational test and evaluation activities. Work will be performed at Edwards Air Force Base, California, and Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. AFOTEC, Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, is the contracting activity.

Defense Logistics Agency Exercises Option for Laboratory Integration

Fisher Scientific Company, LLC, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, was issued a modification exercising the second option year on a current contract. Award is a fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract with a maximum $256 million for selection of Laboratory Integrated Delivery System Program distributor.  Using services are U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the contracting activity.

SRCTec to Provide Spares for Counter Mortar Radar System

Boeing Sustains Combat Track II Airborne Intelligence System

Boeing Company, S&IS Mission Systems, Springfield, Virginia, is being awarded a $14 million contract to continue sustainment of the Combat Track II (CTII) airborne intelligence platform sustainment and support systems, which include deployments worldwide conducting site surveys; installations and integration; assembly and test; operator and maintainer training; software/hardware modifications; system integration and retrofits; and system performance assessments. Boeing will also equip CTII units with a programmable Sierra II chip. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Massachusetts, is the contracting activity.
