Insitu Awarded RQ-21A Support Funds

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Wash., is being awarded $10,222,289 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 0015 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-12-G-0008) for interim contractor services in support of the RQ-21A unmanned aircraft system, including all requirements necessary to support the system at the organizational level during planned and surge flight operations. Services include integrated logistics support, program planning and management support, field service technical support, data reporting, and hardware to maintain the RQ-21 production configuration during initial fielding. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Insitu Supports RQ-21A Overseas Contingency Operations

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Wash., is being awarded $8,355,422 for firm-fixed-price delivery order 0025 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-12-G-0008) for the hardware and services required to operate, maintain, and support previously procured RQ-21A EOC unmanned aircraft systems in support of overseas contingency operations. Hardware and services to be provided include spare and consumable parts and in-theatre field service representatives to supplement Marine Corps operators and maintainers. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity.

Insitu Awarded Two ScanEagle Support Contracts

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Wash., is being awarded $7,264,250 for firm-fixed-price delivery order #0016 against a previously issued basic ordering agreement (N00019-12-G-0008) for hardware repairs and modifications to previously procured ScanEagle Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) for the government of Poland under the foreign military sales program. This effort procures spares, operations and maintenance training, and technical UAS publications. The hardware includes air vehicles, their components, and improvements to the systems ancillary equipment, including ground control stations and launch and recovery equipment. The company also was awarded a $300 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (N00019-13-D-0016) for hardware and operational and maintenance services in support of the ScanEagle Unmanned Aerial Systems operated by the U.S. Special Operations Command. The hardware and services to be provided include replacement air vehicles, spare and consumable parts, and in-theatre field service representatives to supplement naval special warfare operators. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md., is the contracting activity for both awards.

U.S. Special Forces Command Awards Potential $190 Million Unmanned Aircraft System Contract

Insitu Inc., Bingen, Wash., has been awarded a $1,000,000 minimum - $190,000,000 maximum, twenty-five month, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) support to U.S. Special Operations Command. The contract is for the Mid-Endurance Unmanned Aircraft System (MEUAS) ISR service using contractor-owned and contractor-operated equipment. The work will be performed in Bingen, Wash., and overseas. U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity.

These services will provide electro-optical/infrared and mid-wave infrared imagery in support of land-based operations in Operation Enduring Freedom to provide real-time imagery and data. The Netherlands Purchases ScanEagle

Insitu, Bingen, Washington, recently announced that it has signed a contract to deliver its ScanEagle unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) to the Netherlands to provide intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) for the Ministry of Defense (MOD). The Netherlands will use ScanEagle both domestically and abroad. ScanEagle will provide an ISR capability during the second half of 2012, replacing a program that ended in the middle of 2011. Looking forward, Netherlands MOD and Insitu plan to continue to explore the potential for multi-mission ISR capabilities using a next-generation Insitu UAS that carries multiple ISR sensors and enables rapid, robust payload integration.
