DRS to Provide Intelligence Broadcast Receivers

DRS ICAS LLC, Dayton, Ohio, has been awarded a not-to-exceed $85,200,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to build and deliver up to 600 Air Force Tactical Receive System-Ruggedized Concord Intelligence Broadcast Receivers. The Air Combat Command Acquisition Management and Integration Center, Newport News, Virginia, is the contracting activity (FA8750-14-D-0001).

Two Firms Awarded Night Vision Contracts

BAE Systems Inc., Nashua, New Hampshire, was awarded a $444,812,310 firm-fixed-price contract (W91CRB-14-D-0010) for Individual and Enhanced Night Vision Goggle III weapons sights. DRS RSTA Inc., Dallas, Texas was awarded a $367,035,238 firm-fixed-price contract (W91CRB-14-D-0011). Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen, Maryland, is the contracting activity. 

DRS to Provide Border Surveillance System to Egypt

DRS Radar Systems, Horsham, Pa., was awarded a firm-fixed-price, multi-year, foreign military sales contract with a maximum value of $8,105,505 for the procurement of a border surveillance system.  This Foreign Military Sales contract is in support of Egypt. The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity. 

DRS to Provide C4 Capabilities in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kuwait

DRS Technical Services Inc., Herndon, Va., was awarded a $13,100,000 time-and-material contract for the command, control, communications and computer (C4) capabilities throughout the U.S. Central Command Area of Operations. Work will be performed in Afghanistan and Iraq, with an estimated completion date of Dec. 8, 2013. The company also was awarded an $11,375,000 time-and-material contract for the rapid response solutions for command, communications and computer capabilities providing infrastructure and information management systems to the Army. Work will be performed in Rock Island, Ill., Afghanistan and Kuwait, with an estimated completion date of June 8, 2013.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received. The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Rock Island, is the contracting activity for both awards. 

Five Firms Awarded Autonomous Systems Contracts

Five firms have been awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide program and configuration management, technical services, systems engineering, hardware and software development, material analysis, testing, repair, and installation services in support of projects for autonomous and non-autonomous systems, as well as, maritime intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance and information operations enabling technologies. All awardees will compete for task orders during the ordering period. Awardees and potential contract amounts are: Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Annapolis, Md., $64,767,382; DRS Technical Services Inc., Herndon Va., $63,032,636; Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., San Diego, Calif., Science Applications International Corp.,San Diego, $56,761,735; and General Dynamics Information Technology Inc., Fairfax Va., $48,420,344. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific, San Diego, Calif., is the contracting activity.

DRS to Provide Below-Deck Radar Sets

DRS C3 and Aviation, Gaithersburg, Md., is being awarded a $8,222,300 firm-fixed-price contract for AN/SPS-67 (V)5 below-deck radar sets and an installation check-out kit for DDG 114, DDG 115 and DDG 116 . The radar set is a short range two dimensional, surface search/navigation radar system that provides highly accurate surface and limited low-flyer detection and tracking capabilities. The AN/SPS-67(V) provides C-Band radar navigation, station keeping/surface search functions, and a digital moving-target indicator.

DRS to Provide Signals Intelligence Tool for Special Operations

DRS Soneticom Incorporated, Melbourne, Florida, is being awarded a $10,784,185 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to develop an operational prototype, man-portable signals intelligence (SIGINT) receiver to support the Joint Threat Warning System Ground SIGINT kit program. The Tactical SIGINT Tool, as envisioned, will be a small form factor, easily mission configured, secure handheld/body-worn networked device that provides real-time SIGINT and precision geolocation while incorporating a dedicated communications capability for command and control functions and cooperative geolocation. U.S. Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity.

DRS to Support Internet Cafés for Deployed Troops
