Raytheon Wins Long-Range Imaging Research and Development Contract

Raytheon Company Corp., El Segundo Calif., has been awarded a $19,351,087 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for Military Imaging Surveillance Technology-Long Range (MIST-LR) Technical Area 2, to research advance computational imaging techniques in support of beyond-the-diffraction-limit imaging. Air Force Research Laboratory/RQKDB, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (FA8650-13-C-7372).

Northrop Grumman to Develop Radar Maritime Mode

Northrop Grumman Corp., Aerospace Systems, El Segundo, Calif., has been awarded a $28,608,128 modification (P00256) to previously awarded F19628-00-C-0100 for completion of maritime modes development for the Multi-Platform Radar Technology Insertion Program (MP-RTIP). The total cumulative face value of the contract after this action is $1,514,521,395. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity.

U.S. Marine Corps Modifies G/ATOR Contract

Northrop Grumman Corp. Electronic Systems, Linthicum Heights, Md., is being awarded a $10,761,825 modification (P00115) under a previously awarded cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (M67854-07-C-2072) to increase the estimated cost ceiling by $10,761,825 for the ground/air task-oriented radar (G/ATOR) engineering and manufacturing development phase and associated other direct costs to account for the G/ATOR gallium nitride transition. The Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

BAE Receives Advanced Warning Radar Funds

BAE Systems, Totowa, N.J., has been awarded a maximum $94,312,136 modification (P00056), to contract (SPM400-06-D-9405), adding two additional pricing periods for advanced radar warning receiver ship sets and line replaceable units. The sole-source contract is a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract. Locations of performance are New Jersey, New York, and potentially Korea, Australia, Egypt, Norway, Poland, and Canada, with a Dec. 5, 2018 performance completion date. Using military service is the U.S. Air Force. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Robins Air Force Base, Ga.

Compass Systems to Support Intelligence Gathering

Compass Systems Inc., Lexington Park, Md., is being awarded a $9,978,215 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for research and development of an airborne system in support of the Electro-Optical (EO) and Special Mission Sensors Division of the Avionics Department. This contract includes research of emerging technologies, including radar, EO, fusion engines, automatic target recognition and other related intelligence gathering sensors, related to the targeting of enemy positions for improved weapons delivery. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, N.J., is the contracting activity (N68335-13-C-0367).

Longbow LLC Receives Unmanned Aerial System Support Funds

SRCTec to Provide Counter Mortar Radars

Thales-Raytheon Wins $83 Million Radar Support Contract

Northrop to Support Submarine Radar and Navigation

Northrop Grumman Systems Corp., Maritime Systems, Charlottesville, Va., is being awarded $24,859,823 for firm-fixed-price delivery order #0034 under a previously awarded fixed-price-award-fee requirements contract for 63 repair parts in support of the weapons system navigation (WSN-7) ring laser gyro navigator, 58 repair parts in support of the AN/BPS-15/16 underwater mobile submarine radar detecting and/or range and bearing search sets used on ships and subs, and 29 repair parts in support of guided missile destroyers steering and scalable integrated bridge systems. Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity. 

DRS to Provide Border Surveillance System to Egypt
