Lockheed Martin to Upgrade Aegis Computers

Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems and Training, Moorestown, New Jersey, is being awarded a $15,577,396 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-09-C-5103) to incrementally fund the Aegis Platform Systems Engineering Agent (PSEA) activities and Aegis Modernization Advanced Capability Build (ACB) engineering. The Aegis PSEA manages the in-service combat systems configurations as well as the integration of new or upgraded capability into the CG-47 class of ships and the DDG-51 class of ships. Aegis Modernization will provide upgrades to Aegis cruisers and Aegis destroyers and will be applicable to all Aegis ships with a computer program that is backfit compatible to Baseline 2 cruisers. Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed by December 2015. Fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funding in the amount of $15,577,396 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

 

Lockheed Martin Supports Japan's Aegis Modernization

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, Moorestown, New Jersey, is being awarded a $53,595,257 modification to a previously awarded contract (N00024-13-C-5111) for development and test of the Japan Aegis Modernization baseline computer programs and equipment. This modification provides for efforts to support the upgrade of Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force Atago Class Ships (DDGs 177 and 178) from Baseline 7 Phase 1R to Advanced Capability Build 12 with Technology Insertion 12 technology and capability. This contract supports foreign military sales to Japan (100 percent). Work will be performed in Moorestown, New Jersey (65 percent), and Chelmsford, Massachusetts (35 percent), and is expected to be completed by March 2017. Foreign military sales contract funds in the amount of $53,595,257 will be obligated at time of award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, District of Columbia, is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin to Produce Signal Processor Technology

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training, Moorestown, New Jersey, is being awarded a $40,662,000 not-to-exceed contract for the production of one multi-mission signal processor equipment set, ballistic missile defense 4.0.2 equipment and Aegis Weapon System upgraded equipment to support fielding Aegis modernization capabilities to the fleet. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity (N00024-14-C-5106).

Millennium Engineering to Support Aegis Nodes

Millennium Engineering and Integration Company, Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded a $7,528,016 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide mission planning, test execution and operations, data analysis and reporting, software and hardware maintenance/upgrades, and communications and facilities engineering in support of Missile Defense Communications and Operations Node systems in support of the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Dahlgren, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N00178-14-C-2006).

Teledyne to Provide Radar Equipment

Teledyne Microwave Solutions, Rancho Cordova, Calif., is being awarded a $49,152,320 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for the repair of 1,600 10 KT traveling wave tubes for the AN-SPY-1 radar program within the AEGIS weapon system. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity (N00104-14-D-D002).

Lockheed Supports Aegis Radar for Six Nations

Lockheed Martin Corp., Mission Systems and Training, Moorestown, N.J., is being awarded a $6,872,082 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract to provide technical engineering, configuration management, associated equipment/supplies, quality assurance, information assurance and other operation and maintenance efforts required for the Aegis development and test sites, including the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site, SPY-1A Test Facility and the Naval Systems Computing Center. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $304,402,466. This contract combines purchases for the U.S. Navy and the governments of Japan, Korea, Spain, Norway and Australia under the Foreign Military Sales program. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

U.S. Navy Procures AN-SPY Radar Repair Services

U.S. Navy Awards Aegis Threat Analysis Contract
