Lockheed Awarded $161 Million Modification for Acoustic Sensor Technology

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a $161,267,324 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract for Acoustic Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf Insertion (A-RCI) engineering services. This contract is being incrementally funded. The contract provides funding for the design and development of A-RCI and common acoustics processing for the United States submarine fleet and for foreign military sales. A-RCI is a sonar system that integrates and improves towed array, hull array, sphere array, and other ship sensor processing. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Maritime Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded an approximate $15 million contract modification to design and manufacture hardware for the Acoustic Rapid Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Insertion (A-RCI) system improvement and integration program.
