Acoustic Rapid Commercial-off-the-shelf Insertion

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded a $161,267,324 cost-plus-incentive-fee modification to previously awarded contract for Acoustic Rapid Commercial Off-The-Shelf Insertion (A-RCI) engineering services. This contract is being incrementally funded. The contract provides funding for the design and development of A-RCI and common acoustics processing for the United States submarine fleet and for foreign military sales.

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Maritime Systems and Sensors, Manassas, Virginia, is being awarded an approximate $15 million contract modification to design and manufacture hardware for the Acoustic Rapid Commercial-Off-The-Shelf Insertion (A-RCI) system improvement and integration program. A-RCI is a sonar system that integrates and improves towed array, hull array, sphere array, and other ship sensor processing, through rapid insertion of commercial-off-the-shelf-based hardware and software. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C., is the contracting activity.
