L-3 to Provide Transceivers to Egypt

L-3 Communication, San Diego, Calif., was awarded a $10,505,889 firm-fixed-price, foreign military sales contract to procure high frequency transceivers and components for RT-1606 systems and accessories in support of Egypt. The Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., is the contracting activity.

Northrop Grumman to Provide Aircraft Navigation to Multiple Nations

Northrop Grumman Corp., Woodland Hills, Calif., is being awarded a $13,172,882 five-year performance based logistics firm-fixed-price requirements contract for the AN/ASN-139 Carrier Aircraft Inertial Navigation System (CAINS II) used in support of the C-2A, E-2C, F/A-18 B/C/D/E/F, S-3 and TAV-8B aircraft. The announcement contains purchases for the governments of Japan, Egypt, France, Malaysia, and Taiwan under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The Naval Supply Systems Command Weapon Systems Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.

Egypt Procures Radio Repeater Systems

Exelis Incorporated, Van Nuys, Calif., is being awarded a potential $25 million firm-fixed-price, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the procurement of six radio frequency repeater systems for the government of Egypt’s SPS-48E land-based radar program and associated support for Egypt under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The requirement includes all associated support. Marine Corps Systems Command, Quantico, Va., is the contracting activity.

L-3 to Provide Sonar System to Egypt

L-3 Communications Ocean Systems, Sylmar, California, is being awarded a potential $27 million contract for Low Frequency Active Towed Sonar (LFATS) for the Egyptian Navy under the Foreign Military Sales Program. The LFATS is a long-range active/passive variable-depth sonar that consists of an operator console, power amplifier, towed body arrays, and handling system. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington Navy Yard, D.C. is the contracting activity.
