Honeywell Awarded Tracking Station Funds

Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded an $11,929,705 cost-plus-award-fee delivery order modification (DO 021501). This non-competitive delivery order modification is being issued under previously awarded contract F04701-02-D-0006 for the Unified S-Band Development Phase II at Transportable Remote Tracking Station Block Change. Space and Missile Systems Center/Range Network Systems Directorate, Los Angeles Air Force Base, El Segundo, California, is the contracting activity.

Honeywell to Upgrade Satellite Control Sites

Honeywell Technology Solutions Incorporated, Colorado Springs, Colorado, has been awarded a $12,932,500 firm-fixed-price modification (P00004) to contract FA8806-13-C-0001 for the Hybrid site upgrade at Vandenberg Tracking Station B-Side. The Core Hybrid contract is an approach the government is taking to upgade the remaining sites of the eight Air Force satellite control network sites. The Core Hybrid will modernize the electronics with each of the sites and integrate those electronics with the existing antennas. The Space and Missile Systems Center/Range and Network Systems Directorate, Los Angeles AFB, El Segundo, California, is the contracting activity.

Honeywell Receives Fiber Optic Gyro Contract Modification

Honeywell International Inc., Aerospace-Clearwater (Space), Clearwater, Fla., has been awarded a $7,279,938 modification (P00048) to an existing cost-plus-fixed-fee contract (FA9453-08-C-0263) for the Strategic Systems and Launch Technologies (SSLT) program. The contract modification is for an in-scope add work to Option III for additional work required to identify, test, and modify the design to develop a radiation hardened loop closure Application Specific Integration Circuit for the Strategic Fiber Optic Gyro. Detachment 8, Air Force Research Laboratory, Space Vehicles Contracting Division, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., is the contracting activity.

Honeywell Receives Satellite Control Network Contract Modification

Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., has been awarded a $550,355,001 modification (P00098) to indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity contract (F04701-02-D-0006) to provide for system and maintenance engineering, network support integration, on-site and off-site depot level maintenance, and software maintenance of the Air Force Satellite Control Network. This modification is to exercise contract option period three, contract line item numbers (CLIN 301-311), cost-plus-award-fee, cost-reimbursable, firm-fixed-price in accordance with SMC-B3 option period three (August 2000) for fiscal 2014-2016. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Peterson Air Force Base, Colo., is the contracting activity.

Honeywell to Provide Cyber Readiness Services

Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Columbia, Md., is being awarded a not to exceed $14,240,320 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with firm-fixed-price provisions for continuation of technical and analytical support services for the Office of Compliance and Assessment. Services shall include conducting command cyber readiness inspections, cybersecurity inspections and command assessment and training in support of Fleet Cyber Command’s Cyber Security Inspection Certification Program and verification, validation, and reporting effort foroversight of Navy Marine Corps Intranet/Next Generation Enterprise Network. This contract contains options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of this contract to $25,896,361. Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center, Norfolk, Va., is the contracting activity.

Honeywell to Support Micro Air Vehicle

Honeywell International, Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded an $8,286,161 contract for post-production support services for the RQ-16B T-Hawk Block II Micro Air Vehicle. The RQ-16B is a rugged, field-repairable, single operator, vertical launched, unmanned air system that supports explosive ordnance disposal technicians and is currently used in theater to support Operation Enduring Freedom. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting authority.

Multiple Firms to Support Anti-Terrorism Efforts in National Capitol Region

Dean Incorporated, Dulles, Virginia; ManTech International Corporation, Lexington Park, Maryland; Science Applications International dba SAIC, McLean, Virginia; and VT Milcom Incorporated, Virginia Beach, Virginia are each being awarded a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, performance-based contract that utilizes fixed-price task orders for the procurement of security engineering support services, which support the operational requirements of high-value Navy and other government activities where security is of high or vital interest located in the National Capitol Region. The services required will include systems engineering, analysis, development, acquisition, integration, installation, testing, software development and maintenance, and integrated logistical support for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Systems. Each contractor will be awarded $3,571 at the time of award. These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to an estimated $224.9 million. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity.

DARPA Awards Gyroscope Contract to Honeywell

Honeywell, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is being awarded a $9,343,572 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is funding Honeywell to design, develop, and deliver a demonstration of a gyroscope with a goal capability of absolute reference navigation in a compact, four-diameter optically integrated gyro-head.
