Multiple Firms Awarded C5ISR Funds

Booz Allen Hamilton Engineering Services LLC, Annapolis, Md.; Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., McLean, Va.; CACI Inc. – Federal, Chantilly, Va.; Centurum Information Technology Inc., Marlton, N.J.; Computer Sciences Corp., Falls Church, Va.; Glotech Inc., Rockville, Md.; Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Columbia, Md.; Engility Corp., Mount Laurel, N.J.; Lockheed Martin Information Systems & Global Solutions, Herndon, Va.; M.C. Dean Inc., Dulles, Va.; Qinetiq North America Inc., Services and Solutions Group, Fairfax, Va.; Science Applications International Corp., McLean, Va.; Sotera Defense Solutions Inc., Virginia Beach, Va.; Scientific Research Corp., Atlanta; and ManTech Systems Engineering Corp., Fairfax, Va., are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based multiple award contract with provisions for fixed-price-incentive and firm-fixed-price task orders. The contracts are for the procurement of decision superiority support services including the entire spectrum of non-inherently governmental services and solutions (equipment and services) associated with the full system lifecycle support, including research, development, test, evaluation, production and fielding of sustainable, secure, survivable, and interoperable command, control, communication, computers, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C5ISR), information operations, enterprise information services and space capabilities. The cumulative, estimated ceiling value of the base year is $179,957,600. These contracts include options, which if exercised, would bring the cumulative ceiling value of these contracts to an estimated $899,788,000. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.

Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc., Colorado Springs, Colo., is being awarded a $26 million firm-fixed-price contract to modernize the core electronics at Guam Tracking Station A-Side and Hawaii Tracking Station B-Side. The contracting activity is Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, Calif.

Honeywell to Support Micro Air Vehicle

Honeywell International, Albuquerque, N.M., is being awarded an $8,286,161 contract for post-production support services for the RQ-16B T-Hawk Block II Micro Air Vehicle. The RQ-16B is a rugged, field-repairable, single operator, vertical launched, unmanned air system that supports explosive ordnance disposal technicians and is currently used in theater to support Operation Enduring Freedom. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Indian Head Division, Indian Head, Md., is the contracting authority.

Dean Incorporated, Dulles, Virginia; ManTech International Corporation, Lexington Park, Maryland; Science Applications International dba SAIC, McLean, Virginia; and VT Milcom Incorporated, Virginia Beach, Virginia are each being awarded a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, performance-based contract that utilizes fixed-price task orders for the procurement of security engineering support services, which support the operational requirements of high-value Navy and other government activities where security is of high or vital interest located in the National Capitol Region. The services required will include systems engineering, analysis, development, acquisition, integration, installation, testing, software development and maintenance, and integrated logistical support for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Systems. Each contractor will be awarded $3,571 at the time of award. These contracts include options which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of these contracts to an estimated $224.9 million. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity.

DARPA Awards Gyroscope Contract to Honeywell

Honeywell, Minneapolis, Minnesota, is being awarded a $9,343,572 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is funding Honeywell to design, develop, and deliver a demonstration of a gyroscope with a goal capability of absolute reference navigation in a compact, four-diameter optically integrated gyro-head.

Dean Incorporated, Dulles, Virginia; L-3 Services Incorporated, Global Security & Engineering Solutions, Chantilly, Virginia; Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), McLean, Virginia; BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services Incorporated Rockville, Maryland; and Honeywell Technology Solutions Incorporated Columbia, Maryland, are each being awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee with firm-fixed price provisions, performance-based multiple award contracts to provide infrastructure protection solutions, to include engineering and life-cycle support for five program areas: electronic security systems; public safety to include emergency management and law enforcement technology support; enterprise systems engineering; information assurance; and engineering network system. M.C. Dean is being awarded $41,313,451; L-3 Services, $38,980,304; SAIC, $39,800,740; BAE Systems Technology Solutions and Services, $40,963,239; and Honeywell Technology Solutions, $43,192,864. These contracts include options, which, if exercised, would bring the cumulative value of the contracts to an estimated $228,700,000. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity.

Honeywell International Incorporated, Defense and Space Electronic Systems, Clearwater, Florida, is being awarded a $80,228,616.not-to-exceed firm-fixed-price to acquire Global Position System/Inertial Navigation System production units for the AH-64, AB3, UH-60, CH-47, SPN-46, E-2, and UH-1 platforms for the Army, Navy, and Foreign Military Sales requirements. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.

Honeywell Awarded Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Contract

Honeywell Technology Solutions Incorporated, Columbia, Maryland, is being awarded $28,979,511 for firm-fixed-price task order 0009 under a previously awarded multiple award service contract for Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) Ashore global sustainment. The work to be performed provides for the sustainment of life cycle ATFP Ashore projects to include all system-related hardware and software.  Services to be provided include corrective and preventative maintenance of the equipment/systems, and the response and resolution of service calls.  The task order provides the support necessary to carry out the day-to-day operations and maintenance of ATFP Ashore hardware, software, and related services. The Specialty Center Acquisition, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Port Hueneme, California, is the contracting activity.

Honeywell Receives Funds for Radar Altimeter Receiver Transmitter

Five Firms Receive Information Assurance Funds

BAE Systems Information Solutions Incorporated, Herndon, Virginia; Booz Allen Hamilton Incorporated, McLean, Virginia; Computer Sciences Corporation, Falls Church, Virginia; Honeywell Technology Solutions Incorporated, Columbia, Maryland; Science Applications International Corporation, McLean, Virginia; and Scientific Research Corporation, Atlanta, Georgia, are each being awarded a potential $210,568,360 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based contract to provide tactical and strategic and operations support services with the emphasis being on information assurance. These contracts will support the U.S. Navy and other Defense Department and federal agencies. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, South Carolina, is the contracting activity.
