Lockheed Martin to Upgrade C-5 Avionics

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Marietta, Georgia, recently received a $16 million contract for the development, integration, and testing activities of the first C-5 block upgrade program 01 for those aircraft modified by the avionics modernization program. This portion of the upgrade program is to establish a common software baseline between the two programs and install a third core processing module. Warner Robins Air Logistics Center Aerospace Sustainment Directorate - Galaxy Division, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity.

U.S. Air Force Awards Lockheed C-5 Infrared Countermeasures Modification

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Marietta, Georgia, was awarded an $8 million contract modification to provide C-5 large aircraft infrared countermeasures Group A hardware and kit assembly. Aeronautical Systems Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity.
