SYSTEMS ENGINEERING & ARCHITECTURE

Matthew Grenis has 22 years of diversified experience within the E3 community. He joined the Joint Spectrum Center’s RD&A Division (J5) in October 2000 and manages the Joint Service Ordnance E3 Program and the E3 & Spectrum Supportability (SS) Training Program. He chairs the Joint Ordnance Commanders Group, Hazards of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance (HERO) Subcommittee and is currently developing AIT HERO policy and technical recommendations for OSD. Grenis is a NARTE Certified EMC Engineer, he holds a M.S. in Management and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.

Dr. Alexander H. Levis is University Professor of Electrical, Computer and Systems Engineering at George Mason University where he heads the System Architectures Laboratory. He was educated at MIT where he received the BS, MS, ME, and Sc.D. degrees. He has thirty years experience in conducting research on Command and Control with focus during the last fifteen years on architectures for C2. He has co-edited the three volume set on the "Science of Command and Control" published by AFCEA and has published more than 260 papers and book chapters. From 2001 to 2004 he served as Chief Scientist of the US Air Force.
