This two-day lecture and demonstration course with hands-on labs covers the Social Media Engineering & Forensics Professional Common Body of Knowledge and prepares the student for the Social Media Engineering & Forensics Professional (SMEFP) Exam.
This course teaches information security professionals to effectively design, implement and operate secure social media solutions. The course covers social media requirements and functional analysis, design and development, implementation and integration, security operations, incident response team, forensics analysis, and data collection. This course prepares individuals to lead necessary staff training to prevent security breaches originating from social media platforms. The proctored exam is conducted on the last day of training. Registration for this class includes a complimentary certification exam at the end of class. Normal value of the exam is over $200.00.
Certification: After completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the Social Media Engineering and Forensics Professional (SMEFP) examination.

The Social Media Engineering & Forensics (SMEFP) course is designed for individuals with proven hands-on experience in the cybersecurity space. SMEFP Certification candidate job roles include: security administrator, systems administrator, network administrator, security architect, security engineer, penetration tester, risk assessment engineer, forensics engineer, information security director, chief information security officer or any other role that is responsible for information security.
