Course Description:

Cyber Intelligence Hours:  3:30 pm - 5:00 pm

Cyber IntelligenceIncreasing one’s pool of knowledge is very important in today’s risk/threat environment. Given the dynamics associated with the entire cyber domain, continuing education is a must.  The field of cyber intelligence has exploded and is evolving as a critical part of situational awareness for the nearly 200 countries connected to the Internet today.  In addition to these countries, criminal organizations, extremist groups and terrorists also have developed cyber intelligence capabilities to further their efforts to use the Internet for their overt and covert activities.  This evolving cyber threat domain has changed the way we look at conflict, the weapons we use, as well as the intelligence needed to mitigate these threats.  This module introduces multiple aspects of the emerging discipline of cyber intelligence and the evolving ‘cyber spy’ role.
