Distinguished Service to Education Award

Established in 1984, the AFCEA Education Foundation honors the individual each year who has made significant contributions to the educational mission of AFCEA. Recipients exhibit elite characteristics - a history of exceptional dedication to educational endeavors, a background of strong leadership skills within their particular chapter or industry environment, and a record of significant contributions to furthering education in the fields of C4I - command and control, communications, computers and intelligence.

Candidates for this award are accepted from AFCEA Chapter presidents, Educational Foundation and AFCEA International Board members, Executive Committee members, and AFCEA International senior staff members. Nominations are due each year in early December.

The Educational Foundation Board of Directors select the recipient at their February meeting.
