SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Educational Foundation’s scholarship program strives to reward excellence in the study of science and technology. The United States currently faces a huge deficit in scientists, engineers and other professionals with the technical educations to provide for national defense, homeland security and a growing economy. To help alleviate this disparity, the Foundation has expanded eligibility criteria for undergraduate scholarships to include the following or related fields: technology management, management information systems, and science or mathematics (STEM) education.  Majors directly related to the support of U.S. national security or intelligence enterprises with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. For more information, contact Norma Corrales via Email.

Note:  It is important to remember that AFCEA membership should not be a requirement for scholarship eligibility. Please review Chapter criteria to ensure that you do not include this as a condition for application.  For more information, please check the Scholarship Start-Up Guidelines.
