| AFCEA ROTC Scholarship |

Scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded to ROTC students majoring in the following or C4I-related fields of electrical, computer, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; electronics; computer science; physics; mathematics; science or mathematics education; technology management; foreign languages; global security & intelligence studies; security & intelligence; or international studies at accredited degree-granting four-year colleges or universities in the United States. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. national security enterprises (to include other technical majors) with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible. Candidates must be at least second-year college students, enrolled full time as sophomores or juniors at the time of application.

| Eligibility: |
Candidates must be nominated by the Professor of Military Science, Naval Science, Aerospace Studies or designated Commanding Officer as appropriate. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen enrolled in ROTC, have good moral character, demonstrate academic excellence, exhibit the potential to serve as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces, and have a financial need.
In addition, applicants must provide two Letters of Recommendation from faculty in their field of study. An official transcript including all college-level study as well as courses in progress is also required - can be student-issued copy from Registrar's Office or certified website print-out including ROTC endorsement and signature- see ANNOUNCEMENT below.

Consideration for the Medal of Honor and Distinguished Service Scholarships requires an endorsement by the ROTC unit commander and must be included in the Letter of Nomination.
Consideration for the Future Heroes EXPERIENCE TOUR requires an endorsement by the ROTC unit commander and must be included in the Letter of Nomination. (Rising Seniors only) NOTE: Temporarily suspended for summer 2013.

PLEASE NOTE: There is ONE APPLICATION FORM for
all available ROTC Scholarships. The letters of recommendation and endorsements must specify additional considerations - see above.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
Instructions for electronic submission of the Nomination and Recommendation letters will be provided to the endorsers as part of the on-line Application process - please do not mail separately. Letters will be addressed to:
