| Military Personnel/Dependents Scholarships Next Deadline: |

Scholarships of $2,000 will be awarded to persons on active duty in the uniformed military services, veterans, their spouses, or dependents who are currently attending four-year colleges or universities in the U.S. (not community colleges) and enrolled as full-time students in an eligible degree program.
Active-duty personnel or veterans enrolled as full-time freshmen are eligible to apply; spouses or dependents must be at least second-year students enrolled full time as sophomores or juniors at the time of application.
This information is in effect for the 2012-2013 school year.
Eligibility: |
Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, majoring in the following or C4I-related fields of electrical, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; mathematics; physics; science or mathematics education; technology management; management information systems; or computer science. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible.
Minimum GPA requirement is 3.0 on 4.0 scale or better.
Candidates must provide a copy of Certificate of Service, Discharge Form DD214, or facsimile of current Department of Defense or Coast Guard Identification Card.

In addition to the online application, other required documents include: current transcript issued by the school Registrar's Office and at least two letters of recommendation from relevant faculty.
Instructions for electronic submission of the recommendation letters will be provided to the endorsers as part of the on-line application process - please do not mail separately. Letters will be addressed to:
