AFCEA IS NOT A "SMALL BUSINESS"

Important Announcement

AFCEA recently received a letter from the Committee on Small Business (U.S. House of Representatives) informing us that at least one federal agency classifies AFCEA as a "Small Business" as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA).  The letter asks us to help correct this error now and in the future.

It is important that AFCEA not designature ourselves as an SBA Small Business in any correspondence with members and other customers or vendors.  Often, this question appears on the "Supplier Representations and Certifications" (or similar document) that many of our federal contractor members/customers ask us to complete.

As a non-profit association, AFCEA is, by definition, not an SBA Small Business.
