Awards for academic excellence will be implemented at Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) at the elementary, middle and high school levels.

Tokyo Chapter

Annually the Tokyo AFCEA Chapter is honored to award high school seniors pursuing careers in telecommunications, engineering and sciences academic scholarships of approximately $2,500 per recipient. As the opportunity presents, Science Teaching Tools grants of approximately $8,000 are awarded to support science and/or mathematics instruction in local DoDDS high schools. We also award grants of up to $8,000 in support of our junior enlisted military members striving for academic excellence.
