Chapter Scholarships - International

Australia

Australia Chapter

The Chapter plans financial and material sponsorship to a needy local secondary school to assist with the promotion of excellence in science education.  A prize to the most outstanding student on the Communications and Information Systems Operators' Course at the Australian Defence Force School of Signals will also be awarded. The total value of support will be approximately A$1700.

Japan

Okinawa Chapter

Awards for academic excellence will be implemented at Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DoDDS) at the Elementary, Middle and High School levels.

Tokyo Chapter

At least ten academic scholarships of approximately $2,500 per recipient will be awarded annually to deserving high school seniors pursuing careers in communications, engineering and the sciences. Science Teaching Tool Awards of at least $8,000 to support science and/or mathematic instruction in local DoDDS high schools will be awarded.  Grants up to $2000 will be awarded to provide academic assistance to the junior enlisted with a rank of E6 and below.
