Scholarship Details

 
AFCEA General John A. Wickham Scholarship

Scholarships of $2,000 each will be awarded to full time students currently enrolled in accredited degree-granting 4-year colleges or universities in the United States.  Candidates must be at least second-year college students, enrolled full time as sophomores or juniors at the time of application.

Please Note: Distance Learning or OnLine Programs will not qualify.

Eligibility:

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and working toward a degree in the following C4I-related fields of electrical, computer, chemical, systems or aerospace engineering; computer science; physics; mathematics; science or mathematics education; technology management; or management information systems. Majors directly related to the support of U.S. intelligence enterprises or national security with relevance to the mission of AFCEA will also be eligible.

An overall GPA of 3.5 on 4.0 scale or better is required.

PLEASE NOTE: At least two letters of recommendation will be required from field-of-study professors. 


Instructions for electronic submission of the Recommendation letters will be provided to the endorsers as part of the on-line application process - please do not mail separately.  Letters will be addressed to:

An official transcript reflecting all college-level study will also be required by the deadline date - electronic submission preferred.
