Scholarships for Working Students

AFCEA Professional Development Scholarship

April 15, 2010

One scholarship of $1,000 or two scholarships of $500 each will be awarded annually. Online applications will be made available in the spring and fall. Please submit the appropriate Application Form, together with all required supporting documents to the address on the application by the appropriate deadline date. Final selection will be made by the Scholarship Committee.

Spring deadline: April 15

Fall deadline: November 15

Eligibility:	Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a young professional (age 40 or under) currently employed in a field related to communications, computer science or electronics. Applicant must indicate the AFCEA Professional Development Center course desired and preferred dates of attendance. Scholarship funding will be disbursed directly to the AFCEA Professional Development Center as payment towards course registration. NOTE: Scholarship funds can be applied to any course in the PDC Catalog - click here for course schedule.
