Technical Certification Scholarship

Scholarship award is $750. Please submit the appropriate Application Form, together with all required supporting documents to the address on the application. Final selection will be made by the Scholarship Committee. 

Eligibility:

 

 

 

 

 

Important:

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a young professional (age 35 or under) currently employed in a field related to communications, computer science or electronics.

Technical Certifications include any Cisco Certifications, Microsoft Certifications, Novell Certification, Java Certification or A+ Certification. The Scholarship can be used for a course leading to certification, a certification preparation program as in the Cisco week-long "Boot Camp Prep Course", laboratory course or a certification test fee. Courses taken from Learning Tree or any of their counterparts are considered valid courses for this scholarship.

Proof of registration (including dates of course or date when registered) must be submitted. Acceptable proofs of registration are: official course registration indicating name of applicant and the name of the institution where the certification course will be taken, tuition bill, or letter from institution or certification administrator stating that the applicant is enrolled in a certification program. Proof of registration must include the name, address and phone number of the certification institution.
