Directions

From the airport to the Top Hotel Praha:

The Top Hotel Praha is 20 km (12 miles) from Praha-Ruzyne International Airport.

It is 5 km (3 miles) from Main Train Station (Hlavni nadrazi) which is about 10 minutes’ driving.

Travel by Public Transportation from Ruzyne Airport: Bus no. 119 direction to Dejvická – Dejvická Bus Stop – transfer to Metro Route A direction to Skalka – Muzeum Metro Stop Station – transfer to Metro Route C direction to Háje – Chodov Metro Stop Station – transfer to the Bus no. 115 – Mestský archiv Bus Stop (right in front of the hotel). 

Travel by Public Transportation from Downtown Prague: Metro Route C direction to Háje – Chodov Metro Stop Station – transfer to the Bus no. 115 – Mestský archiv Bus Stop (right in front of the hotel).

 

Travel by Automobile from D1 Freeway coming from City of Brno: Brnenská Street D1 – Exit 1 to Sporilov – exit to Türkova Street – straight ahead on the traffic light intersection – after about 80 meters turn slightly right into the Klapálkova Street – turn right on the first road – and the hotel area is on the left side up the hill.

        - EXHIBITORS

Personnel manning the stands must register to receive a badge. An Exhibitor Pre-Registration Form is included in the Exhibitor Manual sent to all exhibitors mid-June 2008.

        - VISITORS

The access to the exposition is free of charge. A Visitor’s Registration Form is available on this site.

 

 

Pre-registration is required prior to 3 October 2008.

All registrants will receive a confirmation notice. Your badge will be available on-site at the “Registration desk” at the entrance to the Congress Hall. Everyone must wear this badge at all times whilst attending the event. Official identification will be requested for badge collection.

 

 

 

Lunch & Network Night Dinner

Tickets are required for the lunches and the Network Night Dinner and can be ordered when you register.

The Network Night Dinner will be held at the U. Fleku Brewery Restaurant on 16 October from 19h15 to 21h30.

 

Lunch ticket costs 20 EUR per ticket per day.

Dinner ticket costs 50 EUR for AFCEA Members and 55 EUR for non members.

 

 

 

Travel & Accommodation

Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and payment. A number of rooms with reduced rates are available for AFCEA TechNet and NATO CIS attendees at the Top Hotel Praha: 2.500,- CZK/single room and 3.180,- CZK/double room (rates 03/2008: 100 EUR/single, 127 EUR/double). Rates include tax & buffet breakfast.

When should I pay for the conference?

When registering and prior to 3 October 2008. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer before the event. A confirmation letter and an invoice, marked “paid”, will be sent for VAT purposes. They will be e-mailed to you as soon as the payment is processed.

 

 

 

As an exhibitor, how can I get all the technical information?

An Exhibitor Manual including shell scheme order forms, shipping instructions, etc. was sent to all exhibitors mid-June. The Exhibitor Manual is also available on this web site. For further information, please contact the AFCEA office.

 

 

 

When will I receive my conference material?

Your badge and a Final Programme will be distributed on arrival at the Registration Desk located at the entrance to the Congress Hall.

 

 

 

Presentations

All the presentations will be available on our website after the event. The distribution of presentation materials is subject to the speakers' permission. For more details please contact us by Email

 

 

 

What should I wear?

The dress code is business suit or military uniform (except for the Network Buffet Dinner when it is relaxed to “casual chic” - which excludes jeans and t-shirts).

Will I receive some information about TechNet Europe 2008 in the mail?
