The aim of this dinner is to set the scene for TechNet International whilst offering exclusive access to one of London's best Clubs. The Oriental Club is situated in Stratford House located in Stratford Place which has its entrance off Oxford Street nearly opposite the Bond Street Tube Station. The aim is to gather at 1900 for an aperitif and then sit down to dine at 1945. There will be a cash bar after the dinner. The dress will be business suits (with ties!).

The after-dinner speaker will be Vice Admiral Harry B. Harris, Jr., USN, Commander, U.S. 6th Fleet; Commander, Striking and Support Forces NATO; Joint Force Maritime Component Commander, Naples; Deputy Commander U.S. Naval Forces Europe; Deputy Commander U.S. Naval Forces Africa.

There are only 100 seats available for the dinner so early registration is advisable.

  • All fees are in Euros and subject to UK  VAT (Valued Added Tax) at 17,5%.

 

  • British companies that are VAT registered in the UK will NOT be charged VAT by AFCEA but, under article 194 of the European VAT directive, they are liable for payment of VAT in the United Kingdom.

      

  • NATO personnel and some Diplomatic Missions may be exempt from VAT charges but must provide VAT Exemption Certificate otherwise VAT will be charged. This document has to be provided with registration form.
