About the NDU iCollege –

The NDU iCollege, a critical component of The National Defense University, grew from a small IT school focused on technology and its applied uses in 1988, to a world-class graduate institution offering an array of programs with national and international influence. The college’s educational certificates lay a strong foundation in critical information leadership topics, issues, and solutions. The college fosters interagency and international collaboration and communication by providing learning opportunities for approximately 3,000 mid-to-high-level leaders across government annually.

On October 27, 2010, the NDU iCollege, in conjunction with AFCEA TechNet International, offered “The Cloud Computing Conference at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London, UK. Cloud computing is the latest model of off-premises computing intended to increase capacity, enhance capabilities, and improve efficiency through virtual servers available over the internet. This one-day conference examined the utility of “cloud computing” from many angles and offered information leaders insight into its promise and challenges. The full-day agenda included keynote speeches, presentations, and panel discussions by key U.S. government, international organisations and private sector executives. Topics included cloud computing solutions, lessons learned, case studies, and more.
