Directions
From the airport to the Silja Terminal
Stockholm:
The Stockholm-Arlanda Airport is about 45-minute drive by taxi to the Silja Line Terminal. The taxi
fare is about 50 €.
The Bromma Airport (Stockholm, Sweden) is a 30-minute drive by taxi to the Silja Line Terminal.
The taxi fare is about 40 €.
There is no direct bus from the Arlanda airport to the Silja Line terminal. From the airport, take the
Arlanda express train to the city centre (20 minutes) then take bus number 1 to go to the harbour
(20 minutes).
Helsinki:
The Helsinki-Vantaa Airport is about 30-minute drive by taxi to the Silja Line Terminal. The taxi fare
is about 30 €.
There is no direct bus from the Helsinki-Vantaa airport to the harbour. From the airport, take bus
615 on platform 21 (outside the international terminal) to the central railway station of Helsinki; at the
central railway station, take tram number 3T in front of the department store “Stockmann” and it will
stop in front of the Silja Line ferry terminal.

Personnel manning the stands must register to receive a badge. An Exhibitor Pre-Registration Form
was sent along with the Exhibitor Manual at the end of June 2007. If your company has not received
the Exhibitor Manual, please contact the AFCEA Europe office.
The access to the exposition is free of charge. A Visitor’s Registration Form is available on this site.
Pre-registration is required prior to 1 October 2007; no on-site registration will be possible for
security reasons on board the ship.
All registrants will receive a confirmation notice. Your badge will be available on-site at the “Registration
desk” on board the "Silja Serenade". Everyone must wear this badge at all times whilst attending the
event. Official identification will be requested for badge collection and for Silja Boarding pass.
Lunch & Network Buffet Dinner
Tickets are required for the lunches and the Network Night Dinner and can be ordered when you
register. The Network Buffet Dinner will be held on board the Silja Serenade, in the exhibition area from
18h30 to 20h30.
Lunch ticket costs 35 EUR per ticket per day.
Dinner ticket costs 50 EUR for AFCEA Members and 55 EUR for non members.
Travel & Accommodation

Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements and payment. A
number of cabins with reduced rates are available for AFCEA TechNet attendees on the Silja Serenade:
160 EUR Seaside/A-Class, 275 EUR DeLuxe Class, 415 EUR Commodore Class (all rates incl. the
overnight cruise and breakfast). Lower and superior class cabins are available by contacting the Silja
Line. An accommodation booking form is available on this site.
Deadline for cabin reservation is 24 September 2007.
A boarding card and a cabin key will be available for pick-up at the Silja check-in desk located at the
Silja Terminal.
Check-in for the Silja Serenade ship
Passengers, who have made a cabin reservation, will receive a boarding card and a cabin key at the
check-in desk located at the Silja Terminal (similar to a hotel reception). The boarding card has to be
shown to the security officer upon embarkation. The check-in closes 10 minutes prior to the ship’s
departure which is scheduled for 17:00 each day. The ship will not wait for passengers arriving late for
check-in and entrance to the ship cannot be guaranteed.
Passengers, who are attending TechNet Europe for the day and will disembark the ship before its
departure at 17:00, will have to show an official and valid identification to the security officer upon
embarkation.
Please make sure you register with AFCEA by returning the appropriate registration form, enclosed in
this manual, prior to 1 October 2007. Your badge will be available at the AFCEA Registration desk on
board of the ship.
Each passenger should have official and valid identification document. Escorts are only permitted to
enter the ship in special cases (contact Silja Line direct).
When should I pay for the conference?
When registering and prior to 1 October 2007. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer
before the event. A confirmation letter and a receipt will be e-mailed to you as soon as the payment is
processed.
As an exhibitor, how can I get all the technical information?
An Exhibitor Manual including shell scheme order forms, shipping instructions, etc. was sent to all
exhibitors at the end of June. If you have not received your copy by then, please contact the AFCEA
Europe office.
When will I receive my conference material?
Your badge and a Final Programme will be distributed on arrival at the Registration Desk located on
board the Silja Serenade.

All the presentations will be available on our website after the event. The distribution of presentation

What should I wear?
The dress code is business suit or military uniform (except for the Network Buffet Dinner when it is
relaxed to “at sea” - which excludes jeans and t-shirts).
